H&S Foldable Camping Stove Windscreen, 10 Aluminum Plates, Windshield with Carrying Case for Outdoor Camping

Purchased this to take on camping trips. It folds nicely for easy storage. If it's really windy, it has trouble staying stabile. But, the end result is that it does block the wind from my small gas grill and I'm able to cook.

for backpacking, this is too big and heavy. (id recommend making a windscreen, im figuring it out too) thats a high standard. product is relatively light (aluminum) just not backpacking light.however, this product performs well. and its very versatile, i can see it working with pretty much any combination of pot and a single burner stovei dont know why i havent used a windscreen for over 10 years!? really does shave minutes off of the boiling timeoutright necessity on a windy day

Ohuhu better than H&S, more hinges, smaller hinges for more compact, wires can be either self retaining or removeable - Ohuhu same size as H&S but better function on Ohuhu hinges and same plates but thinner folded due to better hinges on Ohuhu. Wire comes out too easily on H&S. I received no benefit for this review, just sharing my comparison because I wanted two options to store with different stoves.

This is a functional product that gets the job done in calm conditions. I've used it a few times and found it adequately protected my stove's flame from light breezes. It's easy to fold and pack away, a definite plus for camping.However, the three-star rating reflects its significant limitations. The windscreen's stability is its biggest drawback. On uneven ground, or in anything more than a gentle breeze, it struggles to stay upright. This makes it unreliable in many real-world camping scenarios where surfaces are rarely perfectly flat and wind is often a factor. For truly effective wind protection, you might need to consider a more substantial and robust option. While it's convenient for its portability, the compromise on stability needs to be considered.

Fairly light weight and compactable. Great for camping with an alcohol or gas stove. I like the pegs on the ends to pin it to the ground!
