Can it get smaller when empty to store or carry?

It can be a little flatter but the back and bottom are stiff.

Can i carry on this bag inside the plane? for ryanair or easyjet, the measures are almost: 55cm x 40cm x 20cm - (21in-15in-07in)

SPECIFICATIONS - This 60-liter backpack comfortably carries up to 50 lbs (22.7kg); Measures 27 x 15 x 13 inches and weighs 7 lb 8 oz (3.4kg). And you are also limited to 10kg for the carry-on so even if it were small enough it takes up half your allowance by itself! I used mine for 3 weeks in Europe on trains and Ubers and loved it. It fit in the train overhead and also behind the seats. But it was too big for plane carry-on.

Nice bag but too big

This is a well-designed bag. It's made a durable yet attractive materials, is very roomy, and is not too heavy for a wheeled bag. It was too big for my trip requirements (it's definitely not even close to a carry-on size) so unfortunately I had to send it back.

so good. Construction seems solid and the conversion from pull-along ...

My daughter just left on a plane to Spain with her Deuter Helion pack. This is a "hybrid" backpack/rolling suitcase and so far, so good. Construction seems solid and the conversion from pull-along to backpack is surprisingly easy.

Too heavy!!! Not enough pockets!

Too heavy by itself!!! Not enough pockets!!When empty is ~3500g (or ~10 pounds). When is completely full it becomes impossible to carry it as a backpack. I’m having a trip around the world for an year, and this is the second month yet, and it doesn’t look it’s gonna handle all the time ahead. I’m using it 100% of the time the wheels, so it would be better to have a lighter and normal small sized piece.
