I'd been considering a monitor desk light for some time now, but I could not justify the price tag giong as high as $200 on the BenQ "original" that sorta started it off with these types of lights. This was a couple years ago now and clearly today there are many different versions of similar monitor lights on the market, the Quntis being among them, and which appears to be a fairly close copy of the BenQ light.I found this one on Amazon, priced around $40 for the non-remote (remote being rather superfluous in my opinion) version and did a little comparison research to see if this might be a good fit. There are many similar monitor lights out there, some cheaper and going as low as ~$25 and some obviously more expensive. I figured the Quntis was a good middle ground price-wise and took a shot to see if this would fit the bill. Indeed it does!Whether or not, or how close a copy to the BenQ the Quntis is I don't know for sure, as I've never seen the alternatives, but I can say this one is very well designed and well constructed, some plastic and also some metal in the construction and on close inspection the quality is definitely there. The mounting system is simple and functional and adapted perfectly to my HP Omen gaming monitor, which I would say has a somewhat non-standard profile shape and thickness, at least at the top where the light mounts. No problem, the mount is easily adjustable and rests perfectly and securely on my top monitor edge with full confidence that it's not going anywhere, or is any way unstable or wonky.The light controls on top of the light are easily accessible, operated by touch and the tactile "buttons" are shaped so they can be easily felt when operating the light. There are stepless controls for brightness and color temperature, as well as a sort of "auto" button that adjusts the brightness based on the ambient light in the room, which is nice. The lightbar throws a very nice pool of light on your keyboard and desk space in front of, and not directly ON, your monitor - right where you need it - without any glare, or being too harsh. Again, the quality, brightness and temperature of the light is easily adjustable to your liking.The monitor mounting system is sensible, simple, highly adjustable and highly functional. Lamp is powered by USB and in my case plugs right into a USB port on my monitor and totally invisible, hidden behind. Anyway, I guess I might have got a little carried away with this review, but tldr; the Quntis is an excellent monitor light and if this is something you've been looking at, I don't think you can go wrong with this one.

So I grab this Quntis monitor lamp because apparently my desk needed to be “masterfully illuminated” and my eyes “cared for.” Translation: I wanted to see my keyboard without turning my office into a tanning salon.It shows up, I put it together in about two minutes, slap it on my monitor, and boom, it’s solid. Hasn’t slipped, fallen, or even wiggled since. Sturdy like it’s auditioning for a desk lamp CrossFit competition.It’s got dimming and different light colors. Cool, right? Except here’s the thing: I played with them for about five minutes, found the one I liked, and… haven’t touched them since. I mean, yeah, the option is nice, because imagine buying one without it and realizing you hate the light color. But let’s be honest, this is a Day 1 feature, not a “daily lifestyle choice.”As for the marketing buzzwords, “no glare,” “eye care,” “workspace zen enlightenment”, I’m not measuring lumens in a lab here. All I know is my desk and monitor are lit up, and I can see my stuff better.Verdict? It works, it’s sturdy, and for the price, I’m not complaining. Just don’t expect it to change your life… unless your life goal is to find the perfect desk light setting once and never touch it again.

This is an all around excellent monitor lamp. The lighting is solid, the install is basically just setting it on top of the monitor, it balances perfectly on one of my side displays.But the real winner here? That wireless control box. It just sits off to the side until I need it. One tap, and the light's on and doing its job. No fumbling, no digging through software menus, just quick and easy control.Highly recommend this if you want clean desk lighting with zero hassle.

I was very excited about this lamp. I have been looking for something to help with the aesthetic with my desk, and I can gladly say that it fits the bill. The buttons only need a super light touch which does make it very easy to use. The brightness and temperature of the light is great too. I tend to have it on the lowest setting because of how bright it really is. I haven't found a use for the time quite yet just cause I feel I don't need it all the time. I haven't been able to use the remote part of the whole thing cause it started getting really hot and I had to take the batteries out. This leads me to my next point. I gave it 4 out of 5 stars because after getting everything set up and whatnot, not even 2 minutes after I put the batteries--provided in the box--in the remote, the screen of the remote was incredibly hot. I took the batteries out and they were also extremely hot to the point of almost melting the plastic backing. I have not tried different batteries yet but I recommended that you have 2x AAA batteries on hand and testing those first.

My eyes thank you!Easy to install, easy to use, the remote is perfect (It's weighted, but light, doesn't slip, touch is responsive). The different options from warm to cool and the different levels of brightness are perfect for different times of the day. The touch buttons on top of the device are also a welcome addition in case the remote is lost or runs out of battery. The USB cord length is enough as well.

I rarely write reviews, but this screen lamp deserves it! I’ve been using it for a few weeks now, and I’m seriously impressed. If you’re thinking about getting a screen lamp, don’t hesitate—this one is absolutely worth it.
