Solid, comfortable, versatile
Epic shoes. I'm a man and they didn't make a men's version so I got the largest women's size I could. They are ultra versatile and are some of my favourite shoes. Nicely waterproof and very flexible. Quality rubber. Most importantly, minimalist and barefoot feel, but with the protection you need.

Surprisingly narrow for a barefoot shoe but still the best I’ve found
I have been eyeing these rain boots for over a year, ever since they came out. I finally bought them this winter because I needed some and had it in the budget.I try to only wear barefoot shaped shoes and rain boots are no exception. I do this mostly because I have wide feet and my feet hurt in conventional shoesI ordered several pairs of boots on Amazon and tried several in person and these are by far the boots I liked the best. I did however end up exchanging these for a size down than my normal size (which almost never happens!) normally an 8, ended up with a 7They are nice and thick, definitely waterproof and the height is great for running errands during a rainy or snowy day. They are not very warm (nor are they supposed to be) but when I wear thicker socks it’s harder to put the shoes on. I amGuessing they will stretch out as I wear them more and will like them more. The size 8 would have been great for that but I don’t expect to get my most use out of them in winter so I’m happy with my decision. My favorite thing about them is how not clunky they are. Compared to other boots, they stay on my feet well and they aren’t heavy. I love that! The biggest peeve I have with these shoes is that they are surprisingly narrow at the toe box for being barefoot. They’re still foot shaped and wider than most conventional shoes however. It was actually uncomfortable for me at first but obviously not a deal breaker.I enjoy the shoes, and am glad I bought them

Love these boots
I love these boots, advised to downsize which did not workout for me. 7 to 6. Large toe jammed into front and there was some space behind the heel of my foot. I think the 7 would have worked out.

Don't Recommend
I really like the Xero company for their barefoot design. These rubber boots came in a fun color, which I enjoy. Unfortunately, thats where my pros end.I've worn these less than 20 times and the sole is already showing significant wear on the tread. Both the sole and the boots are made from soft rubber. The material, being rubber is not warm or breathable. While I find these Chelsea style boot moderately easy to put on, my socks are SOAKED by the time I take them off for the day (7am-6pm).Compared to my winter boot Bogs, which are not are barefoot design, these are not preferable. In comparison, I've had my Bogs for years and the sole still shows no wear and I've worn them 200+ times. My bogs are also quite breathable with dry, warm socks at the end of the day.Wrap-up: if you want a long lasting boot that is breathable, I do not recommend. If you want a barefoots rainboot that lasts a couple seasons that cause swamp foot - these are the ticket.

So comfortable and sturdy, not too warm, not heavy
I want to wear these all the time! I have wide flat feet, I struggle to find comfortable shoes, but these are spacious, smooth, sturdy.I want more colors! Looking forward to a second pair.Note: a little difficult to tug on if you’re disabled, if you need something to slip on/off these aren’t it bc you have to yank them onNote: extremely waterproof but not warm. Like literally they aren’t really insulated at all so you need to have warm feet in warm dry socks before you wear these in the cold for a significant amt of time.

Waste of Money
These rain boots have the worse tread of any shoe/boot I have ever purchased.I purchased them at the very end of September 2023, and they already have a hole! My foot gets soaked everytime it rains.I have had Xero sandals for two years and Xero sneakers for a year that have less wear than the boots I just purchased. The company wants me to pay over $30 plus shipping to fix the sole...on boots that I already spent $80 on - less than 6 months ago. Insane. Will stay far, far away from this company and no longer recommending their products.Think twice before you click purchase.Quality is that of a $15 pair of boots on an end cap at the grocery store.
