Can the caldwell matrix shooting rest be used to zero a gamo phox?

The distance between the front of the front support and the back of the rear one can be varied between 54cm and 62cm. The front pad is 60mm and the rear 65mm. You should measure the stock to see if the rifle will sit in that range of distances. The height difference between the front and rear pad can be varied from zero to 75mm. You will need to remove the bipod fron your Phox if you have it but you can probably leave the stud on. I have used this to zero both of my 22LR rifles. Please be aware that this rest is light, doesn't have a lot of grip on the floor and tends to move around with 22LR levels of recoil. This won't be as bad with an air rifle but I recommend you shoulder the weapon firmly while using the rest.
