Aponia night cream Sulphur for very sensitive skin, vegetable based, 30 mL

After developing mild rosacea over two years ago, I've been searching for the right product to sort it out.. I've tried 'Sea Buckthorn Cream', 'ProSkin Rosacea Cream', laser treatment (only 3 treatments because I had a Groupon voucher) and the stuff the doctor gave me. All of them worked a little bit but not really as much as I'd have liked.I mainly have red dry patches of skin on my cheeks, nose and forehead, and lots of small bumps (pustules) that makes it feel rough and hard to cover up with foundation without it being obvious, and I've always been worried that it's noticeable or that people will think I have acne.ANYWAY, I bought this cream and started using it almost 3 weeks ago now, and used it as a night cream. It immediately worked and in a couple of days I had perfectly smooth skin! It's continued to improve and now my cheeks feel completely smooth. They are still slightly red, as rosacea cannot be completely cured, but it's so much easier to hide with a bit of foundation now, and it's nowhere near as red as it used to be.I'm hoping that this cream will continue to keep my face smooth over time and not just be a temporary effect, as it has been the best way to manage my rosacea since it came up. There is a slight sulphuric smell but it's not too noticeable and it's completely worth it.Update: A year on since I wrote this review and this product basically 'cured' my rosacea. I stopped using it months and months ago because I didn't need it anymore. Now that the summer has come round again I developed a tiny bit of bumpy red skin on my cheeks but I just went straight back to using this cream and it's already on the mend.

Sadly this cream should work beautifully for people who suffer from Seborrheic dermatitis, which I strangely only started getting 2 years ago. I tried everything all kinds of chemicals and lotions and then found the 10% Sulphur Soap which was the only thing that helped and is quite amazing although after 4 months it has not cleared all of it up, but has helped immensely as it was getting worse by the day.I then decided that a sulphur cream might just do the trick and clear it up completely. No joy after someone who has had amazing skin for 40 years, this cream gave me acne like a teenager. I was so disappointed. Its worth trying as a lot of reviews rave about it, and I hope it works for you, but for me, it was a waste of money!

this does smell of sulphur as one would expect but I don't find it to unpleasant a smell so doesn't bother me. I bought the soap as well and have found a big improvement in my rosacea, suffering very little redness now. So would highly recommend it. I have read some reviews stating how small the amount for the price but you only need to use it sparingly so it will last a long time. I am very happy with the results and delivery was quick.

Just reviewed this cream, but now here is my update after using it for 3 days. ( well nights really)Inicially i was extremely disappointed at the size of the pot. Extremely tiny and looked to me more like a lip balm pot.It is definitely over priced at 10 pounds. If it was 5 ppounds I'm sure many many more people would purchase this product. Including myself.I have used it for 3 nights and so far my acne has cleared up a great deal.It hasn't gone completely though i might add, but greatly reduced the redness. It seems to be very good at drying up spots over night.Very similar to the effects of applying sudocrem and leaving it overnight which i usually do.Pros: Quick, dries into the skin immediately, you cna layer it on depending how much you want to leave on overnight, it's not drying, it dries up spots and heals skin over night,it actually smells quite nice!Non greasy, doesn't transfer to your pillow or leave an oily film on your face.Cons: Greatly overpriced,extremely small ammount of product( I have now used my pot up, after 3 nights. 10 pounds just for 3 nights use ! )Has a light smell to it, If you have dry skin it will be slightly drying. (i have normal/oily skin.)So all in all, my pot has now run out after using it 3 times.If the product was sold for cheaper i would buy it again, sadly it is not. Sudocrem does just as well as this night cream does and -for a fraction of the price and about 10 times the ammount in the tub!

The service I received was excellent but unfortunately this product was no good for my sensitive skin & it just irritated it more but I sent it back with no issues & got a full refund. I guess you just have to try it to see if it is ok for you so I've given it a 2 star but if I could rate the service separately then I would give them a 5 star
