FlexonFlexon WS5850 5/8-Inch x 50-Foot Weep & Soak Garden Soaker Hose, Black

Bought to water shrubs that I put in last year. We had such a dry June I was afraid I would lose some. It worked great. I laid it under the shrubs and put the hose on a timer.

Vendor supplies old discontinued Flexon soaker hoses that spray where pores are too big, not slow even weep as advertised (spray causes uneven distribution and most flow leaks at beginning of hose - starved flow at end of hose). Also, does not come with flow restriction orifice that comes with current Flexon soaker hoses.Old inventory. DO NOT buy as it's junk. Surprising since better new hose is made in China whereas the old poorer quality hose is made in USA.Received 5 good hoses from manufacturers current supply (new packaging has same SKU, but Model# is W5850CN which is bilingual for Canadian market; the way to tell is that the newer better quality hose is rough whereas the crappy old hose is smooth -- like Swan sold at Lowes which is also junk). 15 were old stock from at least a couple years old. Amazon took over obsolete Tools Direct inventory and sells as new (it is unused, but not the new product). Very disappointed in Amazon, except they did take back. They also only shipped partial order on time even though all showed shipped same day (could have been UPS problem).Overall -- WORST online purchase ever. Not able to discuss problem with warehouse or supplier to get current supply, customer service has no way of specifying new hose supply to help with order. Would buy local, but Costco sold out. Current Flexon soaker hoses are great, but not retailed in Washington State and no other online source. Can buy at Menards, but we don't have any in NW.Also weird is that the seller is listed as Buckeye Bargain Box, LLC. But it's an Amazon returns warehouse distribution center.AMAZON: pls contact me if you can guarantee new hose sourcing. Thanks.

Good even water distribution.

i use this irrigation hose in my garden inline with another 50' hose. I needed to replace a cut hose, so that's the reason for the purchase. The hose works fine, a drip irrigation with no squirters. I did need to use a couple of stakes to keep the hose against the ground as it tends to retain the curls of the original packaging.

Not sure if it’s the pressure from my faucet or not, but it seems to be able to push more water out at the hose connection part then the end. But still got the job mostly done.

Doesn't work well, not very much flow through out.

Used it in my garden. Had one in my flower brd too. It's a great hose for the roses because they do not like to get their leaves wet. Use anywhere to water the ground around the plants only. Had one in my blackberry bushes. Never worried if they didn't get enough water.

I got 2 of these 50’ soaker hoses for Father’s Day. They work so well I ordered 3 more!! So far they water evenly from end to end.
