Very pleased
After seeing other reviews compared to videos and pictures that I looked up online I was super nervous about how the color would turn out. There are a few spots that turned out lighter or darker than others due to my own fault(I really should have waited to color my hair until I was out of my cast!) but over all I really like it and once I go back over and even it out I'm sure I'll love it! I went from my own natural dark brown plus their shade aquatic, to this dark yet vibrant red that truly makes my eyes pop! I was stuck between this and Dark Water. I'm really happy I went with Bloodshot! I had trouble covering up my grays with Aquatic and that was no issue at all with Bloodshot. I think I'll be sticking with this one for a while! Do note, I did lighten my hair to a level 7 or 8 to achieve the shade/vibrancy I was able to get. Side note, I love the smell of Pulp Riot. It doesn't have a gross chemical smell like most dyes

Unexpected, but interesting
It's a red wine/deep dark berry color at full strength. When I used it on my hair (a couple inches of level 5-6 healthy regrowth fading into level 8-9 lightened ends) I got a really neat effect! Bloodshot toned my brown regrowth into a very cool-toned level 3-4 dark chocolate color, and the ends were true to the red wine/berry color. After washing my skin where some dye gotten, the red faded off immediately and my skin was stained with a watered down navy blue for a couple days. Now, after a couple hair washes the dye is coming out of my natural hair quickly, which was expected. And the very ends of my hair that have been bleached multiple times and are super damaged are fading off to indigo blue, with shades of purple and then wine/berry the closer to the root you get. I didn't expect it at all, but it looks pretty neat! Just keep in mind when you buy that the blue base for this sticks way harder than the dark wine overtone.

Purple tones
I had high hopes for this. As pulp riot is what my stylist use to use on me. I started out with a pink tone and ended with a red with purple touches. Not what I hoped for, but knew it was a chance. Maybe having light hair to start would make a difference. However, the color had purple in the color before it ever made it to My head. Turned my bath a purple/blue tone. đ Ah. It happensReally hard to capture the tone in photo

Bloodshot feels slightly off
Itâs more of a wine/ berry red. Which it does read in the description on the box, but I didnât read the box when I bought online, just saw âbloodshotâ and the photo looks dark blood red to me, but itâs for a wig so itâs fine.

Brownish Maroon
Overall itâs ok.. I have a light brown hair and it makes it a darker brownish maroon color..last about 6 weeks or so depending on how often I wash my hair
