Simple, affordable and practical.
The saw horse arrived well packaged and the assembly instructions are all in "real" English so very clear to follow. The item is well made and well finished and I consider it good value. It is sturdy and performs well and speeds up multi log sawing having no horizontal component to foul the vertical line of the chainsaw. There is potential to adapt the stand for personal situations by using your own timber base and spacing the "Y" stands to suit ones needs. The four stand model is intended for purchasers who require this flexibility. It performs just as illustrated in the demo videos on You Tube - watch these if you are considering this kit.. I like it a lot but only use it in a domestic environment where I would expect it to give years of service.

Does the job well
Does the job we wanted. We've put some big heavy logs in for chainsawing and it has held them very steady. There is a limit to the thickness of log it will hold because they have to fit within the frame and we did have one or two that just didn't fit. It saves a lot of time being able to pile logs up although I would definitely advise safety leggings or safety trousers as it can be difficult to tell when you've nearly cut through the last log when its under the others so there is an increased risk of the chainsaw suddenly meeting no resistance. It has stood up to the OH accidentally cutting too close and hitting the metal frame with the saw (not advisable if you don't want a blunt chain).Assembly-ok except that the metal parts are very difficult to get into the wooden part-we had to use a wooden block and some hefty hammering with a claw hammer to get them in. Otherwise assembly was ok. Can't comment on whether it's weatherproof as we keep it in the shed.

Great timesaver when cutting multiple logs
Great idea. Legs could be more substantial and bars could be wider to accommodate logs with greater diameter

easy to assemble and does the job as intended
Simple design, easy to assemble and does the job as intended....appears well made and hard to fault for the price. I loaded it full of pine cladding that needed cutting into short lengths with the chainsaw, it remained stable and I've no doubt will be equally as effective with varying lengths of logs etc. When folded it takes up little floor space........good idea/works very well and should last in a home enviornment.

Still useful!
Would be grand for log stoves, but the gap between the uprights is a little large to cut the length I want for my open fire. I might drill another hole and hope the bottom piece is strong enough to take it and it remains stable. Still useful!

well worth the buy
it arrived within 2 days. easy to put together.upon using it for the first time I loaded the frame with logs and cut them all from one end first, however this unbalanced the frame and I struggled to cut the rest of the logs without the frame falling over. on my next load I cut from one end then the other, finishing with a cut down the centre of the frame. I found this way was much better, easier and safer.once the logs are loaded it is very easy to cut the logs into smaller pieces, and very quick, it takes longer to tidy the logs up than it does to cut them.well worth buying

Great Seller, Disappointing Product
Received this without some of the bits and the seller was excellent, responded immediately and sent on the missing bits'n'bobs no quibble. Regretfully though I just don't like the product. Very flimsy, the bottom piece of wood has broken and the uprights are very temperamental, not great at all. Perhaps my expectations were too high having read some of the reviews, but it's not something I would encourage anyone to buy. The seller is good, the product, not so much.

Not up to the job.
Upon reading the reviews this looked like a good buy. Upon assembling it and using it I quickly found out it wasn't up to the job at hand. I used it over 2 days and it was only loaded with light branches so well within the weight limits. On the second day the bottom wooden part split where the connecting bolt went through it. This caused the stand to list and become unusable. Will be going back. Don't recommend unless your cutting twigs.
