Energizer Rechargeable AA and AAA Battery Charger (Recharge Pro) with 4 AA NiMH Rechargeable Batteries, Auto-Safety Feature, Over-Charge Protection

I recently bought an Xbox and I began to feel like I was getting through too many batteries. I didn't like having to throw them away after just one use. I delayed getting rechargeable ones as I thought they wouldn't have as much power and usage time as the Duracell ones I had been using.After doing a little research, I found these to be the best overall price for 4 AA batteries and a charger. Being a little obsessive with design, I also chose them because the batteries are chrome coloured, with an (Xbox-coloured) green logo!You will see on the photos you can charge up to 4 batteries at a time either AA or AAA (you get 4 AA in the pack, but you can buy more to always have a few charged on standby.) I have found that you can charge two of them in a couple of hours so when my Xbox gives a controller low battery warning, I pop two on charge and I don't have to wait very long to swap them over. The charger itself has a traffic light charging status light to show the status of the ones currently on charge. There are full clear instructions included.The charge on the batteries themselves last for ages, well beyond even brand-new Duracell AAs. I imagine the battery life will degrade with recharge but with battery tech these days, that's less of a problem than it used to be. And anyway, you would just dispose of these as normal, and buy some new ones that will last another 50+ charges.Definitely recommended if you regularly use AAs for your tech.

Have given 5 stars because the device has clear 3 stage indicators of battery charge, its compact, charges well, and detects bad batteries by bleeping - so you don't waste time with false optimisim. Seller was very efficient, in fact there was a problem with the batteries, they were immediately replaced no quibble and the replacements work fine. The entire turnaround was very quick. So I'd rather use this type of product and use this seller than risk anything super cheap. Batteries now charged for the endless Christmas lights we seem to accumulate. I thought of giving 4 stars to make this review sound more authentic but actually it does deserve 5. Thanks for good service and product.

Bought a new Xbox so thought I would go for rechargeable batteries this time , works brilliantly

It is writing off batteries that my previous charger did not and it does not tell me what the level of charge is in the batteries

Needed this to charge my batteries for the solar lights, however, when I put AAA batteries in, it just continually flashes up error, may this could be fixed?

Love this battery charger. No messing about with USB cables easy to use. Takes both AA & AAA sizes. Simply plug the unit into a wall socket & there you go! Even has traffic light signals to show you how much it has charged. Bought ours for a garden water feature pond light which uses batteries. Would have cost a small fortune to keep buying batteries so this has paid for itself in the space of a week I reckon!

Good at charging
