Good product, but the type of plastic used for the container makes it a little difficult to remove the lid, this is very soft and flexible.

I first started using it on my teeth. After the first brush I noticed that my teeth looked slightly grey, even after brushing and re-brushing them with normal toothpaste, so I went to bed and the next morning they were better and 'I think' slightly whitener; but it was hard to tell because my teeth are naturally very white.So I continued using it twice a day for the next three days, but after each use my teeth began to look more and more yellow with a grey undertone!I also used it for my eyes. I have very sensitive eyes that get red very easily and I read online that activated charcoal water helps to relieve eye irritations. So I mixed some charcoal in distilled water and left it to sit and separate as instructed. I then used the 'grey' water as eye drops, and also did this twice a day.During the first two days I didn't see much of a change in the redness of my eyes, but I figured it would take at least 1 week to get a result. But on the third day when I looked in the mirror I was horrified to find that the whites of my eyes had turned GREY! And not only that but there was a yellowish tinge about them aswell! This coupled with my already red eyes made me look like a lizard! I LOOKED REPTILIAN!!The final straw was with my skin. I watched a few YouTube videos about how you could lighten your underarms by mixing the charcoal powder with honey and leaving it to dry on your skin for 20mins before washing it off. So I figured I'd try it.I also have hyperpigmentation on my neck and round my mouth, not to mention dark circles under my eyes (I know! I have ALOT of problems :-( ). So I made the charcoal and honey mixture and placed it on those 4 areas (underarms, mouth, neck and eyes). After the first use I didn't see any change at all, but after the second I noticed that my mouth area looked slightly grey, and this was even after I had taken a shower! I was in denial so I put it down to bad lighting and went to another room.I then noticed my neck looked black when I would turn it to the side. Now I already have a slightly dark neck, but it's never looked black! But my suspicions where confirmed when I looked at the skin above the crease of my armpit. There was a huge grey stain and there was absolutely no denying it!!!For me that was it! The last straw! THE DAMN THING STAINS!To make matters worse I started doing all these treatments at the same time! So now I have grey reptilian eyes, yellowish grey teeth and BLACK hyperpigmentation!!!I only got the damn thing on Friday and it's Monday now!!!And what I find even stranger is although I had never used activated charcoal before, I knew I just KNEW it was cheap and not right! I don't know why but sometimes I just have a sixth sense about these things.So here's some advice for the rest of you... If anything on Amazon has less than 50 reviews DONT BUY IT!ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS COUNT REVIEWS!This product only had 5 but I still chose to put the cheap price above the very clear warning signs!!!

It reminds me more soot from the chimney than activated coal. Do not know much about this, but previously bought activated coal to the teeth and was quite a different taste, texture and color. But it was much more expensive
