Is this qlipp enhanced the same product as the current qlipp plus model currently on sale on the vendor site?

There is a problem with this listing as Amazon mistakenly combined the regular ($49) and the Enhanced ($99). The Enhanced is second generation Sensor with many little improvements. Better on/off, better battery life, slightly more rugged, etc. The Regular is a close out version.

Does the tennis ball turn off the enhanced one like the original version during play?

The manufacturing build of this is much better to withstand the shock. Thanks!

My enhanced qlipp tennis sensor will only connect to my iphone when the iphone is connected to wifi (not cellular). is it supposed to work this way?

No it is connected to you phone over Bluetooth. However my Sensor's battery has died in one month and I could not reach support by phone or email. I can not use it now. I would not recommend to buy it.
