Perfect for keeping food warm, easy to clean and it has a metal slider that puts the candles out when finished with...doesn't come with tea lights, so make sure you have some ready if you purchase this. Would I recommend this, yes I would.

As expected. It functions precisely as the manufacturer intended. Good value for money.

These are excellent quality warming trays. The materials are of a high standard and they are well designed and constructed. Unusually, they include a small lever to extinguish the tea lights without having to lift the plate, which is an excellent feature. The only observation I would make is that the lever perhaps should have a heatproof cover where it is held (it is of metal construction), given that it can be hot by the end of use. All in all, though, the best warming trays I have seen.

Really good. I've had trivot type ones of these in the past and they don't work, I decided to try this type and wow, just 2 tea lights and the plate was really hot, I never though a tea light could generate so much heat, it was brilliant.The top plate is evenly hot not just where the tea lights are so the whole surface is equally useable and very hot.This is a good size to fit 3 medium sized oval bowls, it's big enough for my needs but they do do triple version.Well worth the money.

Bought this using gift token.First impression was good. Function vey iffy. When moving the little slider/candle snuffer it puts out one candle but not the other!. Just a little bit of thought by the maker maybe?

We're talking about £10 plate warming tray here...For the price, you get a classic design, that's never going to date.A mixture of black and dark gray, the surface finishes are of high quality.The design also optimises low-cost production. This is essentiallyfolded steel plate spot-welded together. It's well done.I use this to keep food warm when at the table, and eat off this tray.I would recommend one of these for each seat at the table at this price.Never have food go cold again.Learning- the nightlites take about 15mins to warm the tray to the ideal temperature, so light them when you start food preparation.So put the top plate under a grill for a couple of minutes and save on the candles.Also put the plates under the grill to start them off.The nightlights are very low cost if you look around, and they can burn for at least 4-off 40-minute meal sessions.Unit easily fits on a standard tea tray, and is about 2 1/2" high.I use it to heat two small plates, but it can also be used for a single large plate,or bowls of stuff.With this design quality, build quality, finish quality and price, you cannot go wrong here.

I used these (I ordered 3 of different sizes) for a party I held last weekend and they performed just as I had hoped; each one accommodated the dishes I had planned for it and they kept the food warm for several hours, even with the doors and windows open. I couldn`t have asked for anything better and they are good value for money. One word of warning though - smooth/shiny-based platters will slide on them so should be held with an oven glove or similar when serving.
