Yonex Power Cushion SHB 35Ex Polyester Badminton Shoes

This is the first time I am buying shoes online. I always used to buy it after trying. I just liked the price amazon was selling it and thought lets take risk.The shoe came as usual - speedy delivery, very good packing, not a tiny winy bit of damage. Just perfect. and what can i say, they are so light that I really dont even feel that I am actually wearing one. Really good shoes in the segment at this price.

My Profile : I've been playing badminton regularly for over 14 years and I've used two Yonex shoes before and with an average play of around 5 hours a week, my shoes have lasted quite a long time until a few days back when I ripped my Power Cushion SHB SC4, which I purchased in 2013 for about Rs. 4000.This Shoe : The Power Cushion 35 is an entry level Power Cushion Shoe with Power Cushioning only in the Heel area and initially I thought this wouldn't be a huge deal breaker for me, but within a few minutes of trying these on and moving indoors, I realised I was wrong.Packaging : The packaging was nicely wrapped with a box that also had a SUNRISE Genuine Check Hologram and Scratch Code. However, one of the shoe had an abrasion that had worn off the Power Cushion branding off the side. The product tags were also not attached to the shoe.Design : It's available in a couple of colours and I would have loved to buy a shade of Blue but it wasn't available, so RED was picked. A very stylish and very sexy looking shiny RED shoe, but expect the White Outer sole should get dirty really soon.Fit : The Size UK 10 is a tad tight for my wide feet but size is again a subjective entity so I'll comment on the actual facts about this product. The shoe offers good cushioning to the heel with an insole that has a foam beneath the hell, but the rest of the insole is pretty average when it comes to cushioning. The shoe is lighter than it's elder brother the Power Cushion 47 but after wearing the shoe for a while, you truly start missing the extra cushioning over your midsole and toes that the elder lineup offers.Performance : A good court shoe that offers good stability with a proven Yonex Court Sole that is ubiquitous on all of it's lineup. These should last as the pasting and stitching was all neat on my particular unit, but retail store offer this shoe with a 3 Months Pasting Warranty.Who Is This For : For casual to intermediate players who want a good fitting entry level badminton shoe from a reputed company and don't care about intensive usage. For experienced players and users, this is a definitive downgrade and that extra money for a lighter and comfier shoe is surely worth it.But again, most good players won't complain about grip when it comes to these shoes as they are a pretty good option at the price point.

HelloI am posting this review for the 2nd time after using the for a intensely period of time.In the first review I suggested the product is best in segment & rated 4 star, but using it regularly I decided to share my experiences again.I brought this shoes on last April, for the two months I haven't used regularly, weekly it should be not more than 5hrs. Next two months I played very day, that will be a one hour game. So roughly it will be 8hrs a week & for two months it is 64. The total usage of this shoesfrom the date purchase is on avg 104hrs.Initially the shoes was doing good as like others it was good in balance, grip & light weight as well. It didn't harm the foot and I didn't experience any slipping or wrong foot landing, it protected my foot & ankle very well.The problems I found are, first the inner materials came out as you can see in the picture, it is not sticked properly or stitched, it is just kept inside the shoes where you can remove it easily, this might be done may be purposely by the manufacturer to show that they have kept that "special cushion"second the exterior resin rubber material started to get wrinkles which spoils the look of the shoeThird the bottom of the shoes has started to peel off which is a major issue and this has put a halt on use this shoes.I spent Inr2599 and took some time for comparisons to buy this shoes, my peers & friends passed comments for taking time to analysis & buy this shoe for this cost, despite that I believed in the brand and I boug ht one. I thought of going for warranty to fix it but no support or answer from the seller again I spent Inr400 and walking to shoes repair company to fix the issue and ironically the cobbler said he had seen such issues with other customers as well.My next one will not be the same shoes either I will buy another product and may another brand.

I bought this pair of shoes after my yonex shb34ex got tore off after 2 years intense playing. The design of the shoes is typical, apart from couple of slits given for air breathing the design is basically repeat of shb34 ex. It's a bit hard and gives you a feeling as if you put up a shoe made up of wood in the beginning. You need to wear socks which are thick enough to plug the gaps to give you perfect grip. The only reason I bought this shoes is that it is offering power cushion at the lowest price, however, there is no other feature in it worth being mentioned.

Quality is good. My regular footwear size is UK 8. But the one delivered with UK size 8 is very tight. Have asked for a replacement with next size. Hoping that the next one delivered will fit.

gave this as gift to my sisters son, who goes regularly for shuttle tournaments, he is a champion, with many cups , he is fond of the shoes , and i grab it on my sweet Amazon , he gave me good feed back ,regarding cushioning effect while he jerks his legs while playing, this is a quality product recommend highly ,good for shuttle players

Comfort: They are not as comfortable as branded sports shoes but they are better than other badminton shoes in this range.Safety : These shoes lack ankle safety, I got my ankle twisted twice.Durability: I used them for 1 year and used daily for long hours nearly 3 hours/day. But with time they tend to loosen up a little bit.I stopped using these because I got a hole in one of the shoe near thumb. That was due to my playing style, though my every shoe have that trademark😅
