Been using for years!
I've been using Essie Gel Setter for years. Every time I think about switching, I try a new one and regret it. I love the thick look. I can usually get a week out of my manicure before it chips. It dries fast, even though it's not advertised to. Just be careful because, even though the surface is dry, if you ding it hard, it will leave a dent. Also, I love this in light of the studies that show that the UV light used in real gel manicures is really bad for your skin. I have a family history of skin cancer and I'm a pale redhead, so no UV for me!

Beautiful Spring Nail Polish
I love the color of this Essie Nail Polish.... It is so pretty. I can't wait to use it. The color is one of my favorite shades for Spring and Summer. Nice and light and fresh looking. Essie is one of my favorite Brands. The polish goes on smooth with no brush lines, and lasts me 2 weeks on my natural nails. The price was right for this bottle. Thank You!

Throw in the towel is not rosy, it's coral.
Even though Throw in the Towel is a coral color when I was looking for a rosy blue-tone pink, I'm going to keep it because it's really pretty and will look great later ... after I get my summer tan.

Translucent color
I love Essie nail polish. It is always reliable but I was hoping for more of an opaque pink color. This one is rather translucent pink but I think with two coats it should produce a color that is closer to what I wanted.

Not the same color
I love this polish but the color is nowhere close to what is pictured. Much lighter.

Love this stuff!
I love this brand if nail polish because it’s good quality and lasts a long time without needing to be taken off. This color is very, very light so you have to put several coats on.

First Essie Buy, won't be the last. Replaced a discontinued brand.
First time using Essie and was looking for a replacement for a discontinued nail polish I loved. This is actually better quality, albeit quite expensive, but it goes on nicely, with a flat brush which gives a better finish, dries quickly, and doesn't immediately chip or wear like some brands. The colour is a pretty good match to the picture. I actually managed to get through the evening event and a few days before any noticeable digs or scratches appeared and the light colour meant I could wing it through a few more days before having to do anything about it. That's unheard of with me! I've usually smudged it before I even get to the event! Would definitely true other colours from this brand.

I had this color yrs ago...
I appreciated the quick delivery especially at a time like this in our world... The nail polish is just like you see & just what you get. It's a pinkish/coral with the hint of gold fleck's depending on how light hits it... The wand is a little wider & you can cover your nail in 1 coat. It dried fairly quick to the touch. (i ran my toes under cold water in the tub to solidify the polish & i'll add a top coat) It will be nice for summer when we all can come out of quarantine hopefully & wear sandals;-) I luv this color & had this same one yrs ago in a different brand but they discontinued it. thankfully i found it again. Good luck & stay well.

Takes a lot of coats
I wouldn’t recommend Boatloads of Love. Takes a lot of coats to not be streaky and weird. I usually do at least 3 to get it to look decent. Lasts around 4-5 days with Essie base and top coat. I’m hard on my hands though.

Ugly streaky colour. Huge disappointment!
Picture shows only one coat but another coat won’t save this. I’m a huge fan of Essie nail polish but this one is a disaster. DO NOT BUY “boatloads of love”. I hope another coat of different colour might save me from removing this coat and starting again. If I could return I would.

Nice
This is perfect for what i bought it for. The reason i got this is to do a layered nail design, like quartz nails and its perfect for that. However if youre expecting a bright solid color after a couple of coats you may want to look for a different polish. While the solid color can be achieved it takes at least 5-6 coats (this is from personal experience) but the result is very cute. This is also good for someone who just wants to give their nails a little extra gloss/shine.
