Barsony Black Leather Inside The Waistband Holster for Compact-Subcompact 9mm 40 45

This model fit my springfield sub compact 9mm with the sights in the leather my 45 compact sights just touching leather good fit for both model is the sub comp

I purchased the Barsony Black Leather IWB Holster for Compact-Subcompact 9mm 40 45, as it was the size listed for my M&P Shield 9mm and my Para Warthog 45. Both guns fit nicely into the holster. The Para is a little easier to get a grip on to draw, but that is mostly because the grip is a little bigger. Mainly I bought this for the M&P Shield, so I will focus on that. It fits snugly, but not tight. It covers the trigger, and allows a very smooth draw. With all of my practice with it, I have not had the holster come up or shift while drawing. It is a very comfortable fit and did not chafe the skin at all. It is a straight up and down draw, no cant at all. I do have one negative about the holster. Because it is a "generic" fit, my M&P Shield fits into the holster a little deeper than it should. This causes the end of the pistol to protrude about 1/8 of an inch below the holster. When it settled deeper into the holster I could feel the barrel when I sat down. Amazing what an 1/8 inch will do. I am debating on having a leather person but in an additional stitch to insure it stays higher, or shifting it to the Para. Overall I am very happy with the Barsony product and will be considering them again on my next purchase.

Fits my 45sc mod2 like a glove

Strong metal clip, very nice leather, suede-like interior. I like how it rides deep so it's more comfortable and encourages you to carry more often. The metal clip is strong enough I don't need a belt. Just clip on my jeans and go. Leather is nice - I ordered black and it's more like a very dark brown. Not a big deal for me. Fits my CZ P-01 perfectly.

The holster is made very well and is fairly comfortable. However, the fuzzy side of the leather is on the inside. This makes it slightly harder to draw fast. But mainly all the leather particles get into the small areas of my gun. It would be nice if they could make the inside of the holster more smooth

The leather feels good and the overall product looks good. However, I do not think whoever designed this actually uses it for the Sig P938.There is no cover for the hammer (flap of leather to separate the upper portion of the weapon from your skin) which causes the pistol to dig into your side or back (depending on where you carry IWB). This holster cannot be worn for more than an hour without extreme discomfort. It it functionally useless as a daily carrier.It did work ok for pocket carry but the other issue is that the edge of belt clip is almost as sharp as a blade. It has scratched everything it touched like the steering wheel in my car. This is very irritating.Overall I cannot use this product and will end up throwing it away. More thought and testing needs to be put into an important item like this.

Needs more forward slant ability. The hand is bent at the wrist at the draw. the belt clip should be rotated more to the rear so the butt of the pistol more naturally meets the hand.

I actually have the Ruger American Compact .45 (8648) and ordered the 9mm/.40 version and it works just fine. It's a tight fight and covers the trigger and magazine release as expected.
