Great entry point into smaller scale wargaming, especially at the pricepoint compared to buying from Warlord directly. However, It arrived to my porch in frankly awful condition. The cardboard box it shipped in was broken and bent, and the box the minis actually came in was in somehow even worse condition. Thankfully, all the paper supplies and most of the minis were intact, save for maybe half a dozen dismounted cavalry who had their barrels shorn off. Sort of disappointing, but overall a worthy sacrifice for the deal.For would-be parents; this is not a toy suitable for young children. Unlike other miniature kits, there's very little in the way of assembly, but what's there will require super glue and/or plastiglue. For the wargamers out there, it's a solid buy. Other than the sprues differing in color, they technically aren't different between union and confederate, but it's not noticeable from afar, and of course the paint job makes it.
