One of the pockets of the bag itself can be used as the bag to pack the bag into by turning the bag inside out on itself. And since it weighs practically nothing and takes up practically no space, you can pack a back-up pack in your pack for anybody that needs a pack. And it is quite reasonably priced. It's practically physics defying alien future super-technology. Mind blown.

I bought this 20L day pack to replace a 20L eddie bauer day pack which I have used for several years as my travel and work backpack. This day pack has more compartments inside of it than the backpack it is replacing. This makes it easier for me to separate everything so I can quickly get to my medications, snacks, towel, etc without having to just root through the backpack for several minutes. I can put the small stuff in the mesh zipper pouch near the top of the bag which makes it SO much easier to get to. I also really like how the pockets for water bottles on the sides of the backpack are augmented by adjustable webbing with clips you can open to quickly get out your water bottle. The pockets for the water bottle are barely able to take a camelbak 750 ml or sodastream 1L bottle and it takes a little work to fit them into the pockets. They do fit, though! There is limited padding in the shoulder straps, which is normal for a 20L daypack, but you probably don't want to fill this thing up with heavy stuff if you're walking all over the place. For the brief trip to/from the office while carrying roughly 3 liters of liquids, it does work just fine. I like how the bright blue fabric looks with the pattern on it as well, it makes more of a statement than the drab, black fabric on the backpack it is replacing. I'd rate this 4.75/5 with a quarter star knocked off because you can't easily fit a typical hiking water bottle into the side pockets.

Really like the day pack. But, after first use on a 2 week trip, seam at strap top has started to separate where joined to the top of the pack.Would like to seek replacement. However, I'm unable to find contact information. Please respond so we can work this without a return and refund through Amazon.

We had a hiking trip planned to Peru, several hikes, but, Machu Picchu was one.We learned a few days before leaving the US that we had a small limitation on size of backpack for the train to Machu. I had a $200 backpack I’d been practicing with for months. It was too big to be allowed in the train.Frantically, I ordered this, it arrived 2 days prior to our departure. Still planned yo take the bigger backpack in addition to this one thinking I’d just use it on the 2 days to Machu Picchu.When I received it and tried it on, stuffed it with a nice size rain coat, tissue, hand sanitizer, an extra layer top and bottom, phone charger, snacks and water bottles, and a $9 cover in case of terrestrial rains, since it was “water resistant” and not “waterproof” - I was amazed at all it held. I made the decision to go minimal in my packing, to take only this one, and to pray it didn’t fall apart. At this price, I felt it was risky but…Oh my, this nice light backpack was packed out, easy to retrieve items with or without taking it off, grab my water and replace it in side pockets without missing a step, and when I needed walking sticks for downhill, I was easily able to carry them on the adjustable stretchy cords on either side.We did get rained on, everything stayed dry ( didn’t have time to put the cover on (bought separately) and my phone and charger and everything stayed dry.Zippers all operate smoothly, I was intentional about being careful because -I figured that could be the issue of something went wrong, but never a catch or aProblem.It wasn’t hot, it was comfortable, and I promised it “I will write a rave review if you just stay together for the 8 days” and it did!I love this little guy, rolls up to nothing for easy storage and it will be my go to pack forLocal hiking for the foreseeable future!Best purchase ever.Thanks Werewolves!

The pack overall has a decent layout.There are a lot of unnecessary straps on it that I actually cut off.The pockets on the front of the bag are okay, but are a little bit too small or flat to actually serve a purpose.It will be good for travelers who pack light and want to have an available extra bag to use for day trips, and will work well for those, like me, who have one legal carry on size bag, and would use this bag as a personal bag. It will hold a fair amount of clothes and gear without taking up too much space or making a gate agent wary of your amount of carry on gear. The water bottle holders are a bit tight, but will work.

Got this for my teenager as an extra for sports activities. He loves it. Holds a lot of extra stuff. It can also hold his laptop which is a key for him if he’s going to a friends. I like how it folds up and can stored easily and compactly. Ideal purchase for an extra bag that hold a lot.

So lightweight and still comfy with the chest strap, the straps loosen sometimes but they’re way to put back, folds up back to a tiny size! Fit in my carryon, could wear as a fanny pack even
