This definitely works for gum/tooth pain.

Years ago when I got this it had a stick within the cap with a foamy round piece on the bottom so you could direct the. liquid where you were having discomfort. But now I guess they figured after you use it once and put that back into the jar it could contaminate the remaining liquid. Also if another family member needed. to use it that wouldn’t be that great. So I used a q-tip or I should say several. Its the first time since i was a kid that I needed this for not one but several teeth or my gums in one area. It worked right away, including getting my tongue and lip numb but I didn’t care I just wanted the pain to go away and this gave it time to heal on its own without having to go to the dentist. I think the taste is somewhat odd because you get numb so quickly and it last quite a while which is good. This came quickly, overnight which was great because I didn’t want my husband to have to run out for it at the store so late.

The liquid is awesome and killed the pain in my sister’s stitches in her tongue immediately upon application! Once it was FINALLY delivered! It was promised at 4 - 8 am but didn’t arrive until 2:15 pm that afternoon!! Shame on you Amazon!! I paid extra for the early delivery that didn’t happen, too!
