Italian Coffee For Espresso Lovers Italian Coffee pads compatible with Senseo (Vigorous, 180 Pads)

Senseo pods have been harder to find in the USA lately. I tried these about a year ago when the delivery of the Senseo branded pods had a long delivery. In addition to faster delivery and lower price, I have been pleased with the taste of these pods. I also like the more ecological aspect of the pods vs K-cups.

These coffee pods make a rich, dark, delicious cup of coffee without tasting bitter or burnt. Will use these in my Senseo machine from now on.

I tried the "vigorous" flavor. I use them like tea bags, no coffee maker. The price would be great, 10 packs of 18 for 35.00, if one pad made one good cup, but it takes two pads to make a good strong cup of coffee when I let them steep for 2-3 minutes. Delicious flavor. If I use just one pad, it makes a passable cup of coffee, and some people may prefer a milder cup. Anyway, very good coffee, and I'm reviewing because I know many people use these as tea bags like I do.

Ordered Italian coffee Vigorous, expecting strong coffee. So far only opened one package, but noticed loose coffeeall over the coffee pads & accumulation at the bottom of the package, a few of the pads were leaking. I usually use two pads per cup because I like strong coffee. This coffee is not strong at all. I’ve tasted Italian coffee many times, usually found it to be quite strong. I ordered the Vigorous because I expected it to be strong, as the name implied.Don’t know if all the other bags will have leaky coffee pads, or just the first one I opened. I am disappointed. This is not a cup of coffee I can enjoy in the morning.

I own a Hotel Boutique, and this is the best option for the price and flavor.

The flavor and price were great, but many pods did not work with the Senseo. Lots of water ended up on the counter because it couldn’t get through the filter covering. I ended up throwing them away rather than taking my chances that they would actually work.

Both SENSEO brand (strong) and this brand (vibrant) use Douer Egbert coffee from the Netherlands - excellent coffee! This new brand provided me more coffee pads for less $$ than my normal SENSEO purchase. Will do it again! Good stuff!

We have used Senseo coffee makers since they were first introduced. They are the best coffee makers out there for the money. The Italian coffee pads are a perfect match. Puts starbucks to shame. Great coffee, highly recommended. Still don't understand why Senseo coffee machines aren't more popular here, the plastic pod machines can't touch them for quality coffee not to mention price difference.
