CURT55513 Vehicle-Side Custom 4-Pin Trailer Wiring Harness, Select Toyota Tacoma, T100, Hilux , Black

I bought this wiring harness for my 2007 Tacoma. It is a super easy installation, even for somebody that has very little experience with what it requires to do this. There are very, very clear instructions online, that go into a little bit more detail than the instructions that are included in the packaging. But there are no wires that need to be cut, everything is very simple plug and play. And it's worked perfectly ever since I had it installed.

I installed this on my 2005 Toyota Tacoma. Couldn’t have been easier unless someone did it for me.First of all, this is a very well made harness. It’s in every way professionally made. The plugs are identical to the OEM plugs, the wires themselves are substantial, and everything fits.For those of you wondering about how to install this... you will take two screws off for each rear tail light assembly. The assembly will then pull out. You disconnect/unplug the master vehicle harness from its present plug and insert the proper Curt harness end between those two original connections. (There is a left and right.) The harness comes up from under the vehicle through an access hole. Easy stuff. Put the tail lights back in and reinstall the screws.Then, under the vehicle, route your pigtail in a place that’s out of the way and zip tie it in place. While you’re there, you’ll attach the coupler box and also attach the ground lead to a body panel screw.If you have even a little bit of mechanical inclination, this will be an easy install. Way, way better than your typical auto parts store cut and splice version.Can’t recommend this highly enough. Easy 5-star review.

I’m not a mechanic, and this was still easy to install. Took no more than 30-45 minutes going slowly and methodically. Fits the Toyota Tacoma 2005-2015 perfectly and has worked well for me. Would recommend if you don’t want to splice wires.

I didn't put this on my truck when I bought it new because the dealer price was expensive. This kit fit just like original equipment, all the connectors fit perfectly, the quality is good, it works. No splicing, I didn't even have to take out the tail lights on mine. Less than half the price and easy to install.

I likes how easy it was to install this adapter. I had it ready in about 30 minutes. Plugs right into your existing tail light plugs and then into factory harness so theres no splicing. I would recommend this harness if you have a Toyota

It is really easy to install and very good for the value but the quality of the wiring not that good but overall I haven’t had an issue with it works well

I bought this for a toyota tacoma 2007 It took about 1520 minutes to install. Very easy to install, and you couldn't put it in wrong. It only would fit in the proper way. Wanting easily. Worth the money over splicing in a cheaper kit.

I didn't want anything that required drilling, or cutting of cables. This is the one to get if you don't want to deal with that. Very easy to install. It took me honestly 5 minutes to do. Now don't ask me how long the actual receiver hitch took to install. Product has worked great as well, I have no complaints.

Es fácil de instalar, no hay que cortar nada, solo acomodar bien los cables..Detalle: tuve que cambiar la base para pegar porque la que traía ya no tenía pegamento y no pegó... lo cambié por una 3m..Trae un tornillo para colocar el cable de tierra, pero se puede sacar de un tornillo que viene solo hay que buscar una tuerca y se evita perforar..Como sugerencia se pueden aislar los cables, para que no queden sueltos hay que comprar la manguera aislante..Funcionó bien de momento, veremos cuánto rinde..
