Great read and in good condition
I found the book extremely enjoyable and cosy. Absolutely great read. I have read / enjoyed all 3 versions now - Audible, kindle and paperback (where paperback was a gift from someone possibly not purchased from Amazon)

Predictable but still enjoyable
Finally the 3rd sequence of this book has been completed, becareful with the character Bethany wades. Overall the story was average. Faking death part was also awesome. Whole ploting goes on and on around of bethany wades whether she alive or dead. Still very predictable cause of its starting hints in the chapters. Character called bethany actually faked her death and escaped to dubai to save her skin from andrew because andrew was the one who was sending her the threatening messages and even the bullet which has mentioned the name of mike his colleague. To save her skin from andrew she decided to fake her death and escape to dubai cause she was the one who was investigating on vat scams at that time. With 10 million pounds, fake passport, fake identity and fake death she saved herself. Actually the threat was for mike because on the bullet the name which was mentioned was of " mike waghorn"

so predictable, still so enjoyable.
If one will like to see a convoluted plot, without any hint to the last page, it is not for him or her. But the story was told marvellously with very civil criminals and villains. So much civility is spread in a murder mystery that one starts feeling that every one in the Novell is living the Alexander McCall Smith’ world. Thanks

Splendid
You know he writes well, when you even read the acknowledgement twice. As good as his previous two. Strongly recommend.

Loved it!!
Imagine gathering your closest friends to solve a decade-old mystery. Sounds exciting, right? That's exactly what the Thursday Murder Club does in Richard Osman's latest page-turner.Meet Elizabeth, Joyce, Ibrahim, and Ron - four unlikely friends living in Cooper's Chase retirement complex. They're not your average retirees. Elizabeth has a spy background, Joyce is a puzzle-loving nurse, Ibrahim's a keen-eyed psychiatrist, and Ron's a union leader with a get-things-done attitude.

Good, but not the best in this series
Osman is a brilliant writer when it comes to mixing humor with mystery. This third book in the series also excels in humor. The continuation of characters is amazing. But I personally loved the first two books in the series better from a mystery standpoint - hence, the relatively low rating.
