The build quality is very good I use this as a back up on my waders if I forget my primary measure but this little thing is pretty nice. Only downside is its limited by the length but simple addition of the fish will take care of that. The tape measure is accurate and can function as a retractable lanyard also and its fairly easy to replace being so cheap.

Easy access measuring tool
Love the ease of operating this measuring tape for fishing. Be careful not to get too excited when measuring a nice fish, internal retracting system broke when I pulled a bit hard. Otherwise, no complaints

Metal part breaks off the tape.
No good. Metal part broke off within the first month. No way to get tape out. Sending it back for a refund or a replacement is more complicated these days.

Nice but…
Great little tape measure, but wish it had a more secure attachment to my vest. I lost mine on the first outing with it. Just got another one so will try to secure it better.
