I really like this product, but have an issue -- since the cord is flat, that is the surface against the wall. The cover plate for the outlet is facing up, as expected, but running the cord flat against the wall means the outlet at the end is facing the wall which means the cord has to twist at some point in between. That spoils the polished look. I don't know if it has to be made that way, but if it were facing the same direction that would be nice.

We got several of these after we almost damaged the electrical cord from our smart bed frame. Rotating the heavy mattress would smash the cord as it was plugged into the socket. This totally fixed that problem with a sleek gizmo that is out of the way. This is a great solution. We got one to use behind our couch as well; and it works great as well. Very practical and well made! Definitely recommend!

These things are great, I can now flush all my furniture to the wall and hide the sockets behind the furniture. It's one of those things you simply don't regret buying!

convenient product:I purchased this for my child's bedroom as a tester with a few things in mind1. Deny access to the outlet to my child for safety. 2. Relocate the active plug.3. minimize cord footprint. 4. utilize both the top and bottom of the outlet. in a nutshell i wanted to cover the outlet, but still have access to the outlet. with this product i was able to cover the 3 out of the 4 points. It allowed me to cover, relocate, and retain usage of the outlet in a way that minimized the attractiveness of the cord. my only issue is that the model i purchased has two cords with two socket coverings. for now the extra cord is covered in tamperproof plugs but will consider purchasing a similar product with one cord in the future.

***I have edited my review, I initially had a very poor experience and struggled to get assistance from Amazon and couldn't get ahold of Sleek Socket themselves but after a month of trying, I finally successfully found thr proper phone number and reached sleek socket. They immediately remedied my issue (I received a factory defect item) amd even threw in addition items for my trouble. I didn't get to use it right away as our house was under construction unexpectedly.WELL, today I got the chance to install it and one of the cords doesn't have power going to it! HALF OF IT IS USELESS and because it's outside of the return window, Amazon can't help me. But there is NO WAY TO CONTACT THE MANUFACTURERS!Amazon customer service gave me a phone number to a internet company "socket fiber" after being on hold for 20 minutes.I am so beyond annoyed..PLEASE CONTACT ME AND MAKE THIS RIGHT.. send me a new one..Sincerely,Pissed off customer.

The lamp we use in my 2-year-old's room is plugged into the socket that is wired to the wall switch, which is located behind his bed. A normal plug was a little dangerous because the cord had to be bent for the bed to sit close to the wall and I was really worried about it sparking. This was the perfect solution. It not only made the socket flush, it also covers the 2nd socket to keep him from sticking anything in it (assuming he ever moved the bed to get to it, which he hasn't so far).
