AddisDustpan And Brush Set In Linen. Stiff, Dirt-trapping Bristles And a Rubber Lip Feature.

I have ordered this item many times before, but i got it wrong the last time and accidentally ordered it with a 'soft' brush, which was useless for collecting soft, long cat hair! A complete waste of money, but it cost as much to return the soft brush set than it did to purchase it... hence i kept it, but have never found a use for it. My warning is to check thoroughly whether you want a hard or soft brush in the set. They look exactly the same in the image and i fell for the "you have purchased this item before".

(Please read edit at bottom of review made after a little longer using product)...I purchased this dustpan and brush cos it looked pretty in the pictures and Addis is a well known brand so I hoped for quality. Upon delivery I realised I had accidentally ordered 2, bit of an inward groan about that as wasn’t looking forward to the faff of a return but it works well so decided to keep one for the bathroom and the other for the kitchen.It is stylish, nice cream colour, sturdy with a function that means the handle clips into place on the pan when not in use.Bristles are medium firm, slightly on the sparse side but work ok. The pan is a good shape and nice to handle but the lip of the pan not quite flush with ground (as is so often the case with dustpans) so takes an extra effort to get all the dust in, but what the hay, for under £4 a piece it will do.No regrets.Okay many regrets but that is another story.Edit: after a little while using this product I would not repurchase even at such a cheap price. The weird lip on the pan means chasing the dust into it and much gets stuck under the lip so it takes four or five goes to get the dust in the pan and then it doesn’t get it all up.I’ve changed my mind. Gonna throw it out the window. It’s maddening.

Well what a fantastic buy! I'd been after a new dustpan and brush for a while and was looking for a cheap one just for the kitchen floor. The brush is actually great quality, the stiffness is fab! I find it's brilliant for brushing the stairs or next to the skirting boards to get all the dust and bits that gets stuck down that the hoover can't reach properly. I actually feel like my rooms are so much more cleaner now.

Addis is a make I trust. Think I have been unlucky with my brush. On 2nd use the bristles began to fall out. For the price I paid it’s not worth sending back.

Nice set, good stiff brush which I prefer to a softer alternative. One for house, other for workshop.

Quality dustpan and brush set. It's really difficult to get hold of a stiffer brush. They are normally soft and not useable. This one has nice strong bristles so that it actually works.Highly recommended

We have a widow feeder for the birds and they throw a fair bit of seed inside, I'd used my ordinary soft bristle brush pan and it took ages to sweep them up . Thankfully my husband borrowed my old brush and broke it so I bought this as a replacement , it is excellent !! Just going to but another one for my husband now incase he might ask to borrow this one !!

The brush bristles are quite soft so not as affect as I thought and also the pans edge i not very good as some of the dirt goes under it instead of in it .I dont think it is very robust and wont be ordering this set again
