It fits nice and offers great compression. For me it stays up quite well, but I have shapely thighs, so that probably helps. I pulled something in my hip/groin (I actually believe it is a hamstring tendon). It was bothering me on and off for several days, until I had to be on my feet for a lengthy period of time. It flared so bad and extended into my knee and I could barely walk. Rest has been the best thing, but this helps when that's not possible. Very minimal pain while I'm wearing it. It comes with 2, so I can wash one after a few days of use and not have to wait to wear again

I measured my Thigh , and it's 19" . I should have bought Medium according to size chart . I Bought Medium , Large and Extra Large . Medium Cut into my Thigh really hard . Instead of 19-22 it feels like 18-20 .Large fits good with good compression. That one feels like 19-21 . XL comes on easy , and gives very little compression but it gives some support to sore Thighs not too tight and not loose . It feels just smidge bigger than Large ( 21-22 maybe ) . I returned medium , kept large and I'm thinking should I keep XL or replace it with Large .

Very comfortable and perfect compression for the whole area. It stays in place too, which was one of my biggest pet peeves with other products that didn't. The value for the money is excellent!

I bought this for my husband, to wear on his swollen thigh after knee surgery. I bought the biggest size, but it was not big enough for his leg and rolled a bit on his thigh. I think it would work well for an athletic use.

EDITED : Advertised as material latex free. BUT there must be latex in the sewing thread, because I experienced latex allergy reaction after two days of wear. Otherwise an excellent product. Tried the knee sleeve to disastrous results and the quad sleeve is no better. Measured my quad and ordered the correct size. As with the knee sleeve.....no matter what.....this will not stay up on your quad. It fits great when you put it on. Take 3 steps and it immediately starts to slide down your leg and won't stay in place. It's advertised to have some "non-slip gel grip"....yeah right. This stuff doesn't work at all and to be honest, you get no real compression from it.

Works as it should. I wear these 4-5 times a week as I go running

They seem to be well made but they run a little large so be careful when ordering. But then again, my husband says I have small legs.
