I got into my storage, and came up with two ingots that measure 8 3/4 by 1 3/4 and 7/8 of an inch. Both are the "hard" alloy, with a slightly higher tin content and will weigh in at a little less than the number two alloy. They weigh 5 pounds by my bathroom scale.

Q: Is this ok to use for round ball/ muzzleloader bullets?

All the books and magazine articles say NO! With muzzle loaders you need soft lead, same for cap and ball revolvers. If nothing else trying to drive an alloy, patched round ball, down a muzzle loader will be very hard, alost extremely hard. The effort to load an alloy ball into a cap and ball revolver might bend the loading rod.
