The Buffet B10 is a much better clarinet than the student name gives to it. This is a clarinet that could easily take you through the learning process and into high school level music. I would recommend an E11 for the more advanced player and for college level players. I find the E10 plays almost as good as an E11 but is more durable and a bit brighter in sound.

Amazing
I have owned this clarinet for two years it fantastic. I don't recommend it for high school students, but great for middle school. The only thing it would, if you're willing to, is buy a new mouthpiece. This will improve the sound quality. Anyway, it is an awesome clarinet that I would recommend for 5th, 6th, 7th, & 8th! Totally worth my money!
