Highly recommended!
This soap is a total game changer! I originally bought it to help with back acne after a trip where sunscreen made things worse. I decided to try it on my face too, and after about four months of use, I couldn’t be happier. It really works! Highly recommend it. Plus, it lasts a long time, just cut it into smaller pieces so you don’t waste any.

Makes skin soft, spots reduced, smell not bad
I was happy that the smell is not bad given that it includes sulfur. The smell comes through a bit, but not strongly and is nicely covered by light nicer smells. It leaves my skin very soft and with less spots. Although spots have not gone away fully. there are less of them but those still there are maybe a bit more fatty . Still a nice product and very good price.

Can leave skin feeling a bit dry
Smell is not too nice but the soap leaves your skin quite smooth and clean feeling. Not sure if it has helped with my spots as only been using for a couple weeks. Can trigger redness if you have sensitive or very dry skin. So moisturizer is essential

My hero soap
I have held off buying soap with sulphur in for a while in the hope that the rediculously overpriced treatments, creams, lotions, washes, shampoos, oils hydrocortisones & remedies that I have been throwing my cash at because they would all relieve/help/heal my then mild flair up of atopic eczema. All money &time I’m never going to get back. After having a word with myself & because my flair up had become out of control & was consuming my mind, my days, my face, ears, hands, arm pits, arms, legs & feet I decided to stop, step back & start a fresh. I read on eczema.org that sulphur should be used to wash with, zinc for cleansing & a good oil free moisturiser for all over. I started taking a probiotic & a zinc supplement to heal help my immune system & help top up the zinc I’m missing. I added only table salt to the bath & tea tree oil to my shampoo & moisturiser. That sounds a lot but it isn’t. I thought this stuff was going to reek & that I would probably wake up the morning after using it with a head like a cauliflower. I am a full on sulphur convert. I love the stuff. The smell, I’ve smelt worse bars of soap in my time. Every now & then, after I’ve bathed with it & I get the odd, faint, whiff of the sulph & think to myself oh, I hope people can’t smell that on me & then i think meh. I am far from healed, it’s only been a short time but I am showing signs of improvement. My face still feels like I’m not out of the woods but most of my problem areas (nose, forehead, eyebrows, hairline) have almost gone. I just have dodgy eye bags probably because I try avoiding them with sulphur. My neck has gone from greasy to a bit overly dry but it’s more comfy, the backs of my ears are nearly clear & everywhere else needs to catch up. I do feel an improvement each time I use it & have lathered up my hands & used it on my scalp for half an hour which was really helpful. Let’s be honest, having a skin condition is not glamorous but you can google your life away, read every review to convince yourself that this pot of bumble bee stings & snail trails is the one that’s going to clear up the mess, driving you mad & desperate but it’s all money down the plug hole. This stuff works, if it smelt of cat wee I’d use it & it’s relatively inexpensive. Just don’t get any in your eyes because, honestly, you’ll think death has arrived for you. I do live in hope that my flair up is on the clear up & that I will be able to gradually start maintaining healthier skin & keeping the flair ups at bay with the sulph every few days, maybe add a little glamour back in my life but nothing major. This flair up has defo made me think & change the way I look after my skin. I don’t want people looking at me like I’m a glue sniffer anymore. Thanks revital. Long may you keep healing

Great for demodex
This worked really well for demodex and probably fungal acne as well. My skin feels clearer and cleaner. I was able to use it as part of a double cleanse, and when I moisturised enough afterwards, my skin felt soft and I had less spots. I use it on my body now too, and feel much cleaner.

Slight ingredient formula change on box
Overall happy with the product, the smell is nothing bad at all unlike other reviews I’ve read. Just smells similar to a regular soap bar if anything. However on the box some I noticed some additional ingredients then mentioned online, which isn’t ideal for someone who is very cautious what they put on their sensitive skin. Luckily those ingredients are fine for me to use just wish the formula was updated online for buyers to check beforehand.I have listed the up to date ingredients formula below for anyone interested:Sodium palmate, sodium palm kernelate, aqua, sulfur, sodium chloride, glycerin, tocopheryl acetate, tetrasodium EDTA, tetrasodium etridronate, parfum, citral, citronellal, coumarin, Eugenol, geraniol, Hexyl cinnamal, isoeugenol, limonene, linalool, CI 77891, Titanium dioxide

For me it's worked a treat
I will admit this product does have a smell, it's got sulfur in it as an active ingredient and yes you can smell it. However for me I've found that once I'm rinsed and dry this is much less noticeable and by the time I've used antiperspirant and I'm dressed you would have to basically sniff my directly... Which is a much bigger issue! In all seriousness though this is only a small downside to a product that has been the most effective at reducing the body acne that has been plaguing me since my early teens. The only other thing that has been more effective for me was a course of prescription medication in my early 20s. I've only been using it for a month but the difference for me has been incredible I actually believe for the first time in years that if it continues to improve at this rate I'll be able to wear a white shirt without the fear of bleeding on it! I haven't found it dries my skin out either which the other type of acid soap from the same brand does (can't remember the name of the top of my head but the pink one)Different people will get different results depending on skin type etc but for me this has definitely helped and I would say is worth a try. I wish I'd got to it sooner in the long list of products I've tried over the years.
