Game changer! It took some time to get used to because you can't really see where the hole is being punched. But the difference between this and the $2 5-page hole punch i was using are night and day. It cuts through like butter with very little force. I am definitely impressed.

Very well made punch. Easily cuts through many sheets of paper with its comfortable handle. Spend just a bit more and get your money's worth and then some!

This hole punch works well. There is some weight to the item as it is made to withstand use. The handles move easily and make punching even 20 piece of paper effortless. However, it is a bit difficult to see where you are going to punch since you can't see the plunger coming out very well. There is a silver strip that helps to place the hole correctly, but it took some getting used to. Once I had it though, I did a pretty good job of punching where I wanted to.Edit: OMG this hole punch will outlive me. We used it to punch through some of those heavy duty shopping bags you buy at TJ MAXX and it did great going through one... so we tried two, then three and at one point eight. It finally ran into an issue when we accidentally caught a piece of the braided handle in it! It still punched through, but got stuck. We literally used a hammer and screw driver on this poor hole punch, trying to free this handle from the punch. Not only does it still look new... it still works fine despite the terrible treatment. Seriously - this thing rocks! However, you still can't see where you are making the hole, but you figure it out after a while.

I’ve been using a basic single hole puncher that has a shallow entrance intended for paper. I need a single hole puncher for zip lock bags that I hang on peg boards. This hole puncher has a wider and deeper entrance that accommodates zip lock bags. The hole isn’t always punched cleanly but the tool works very smoothly with more leverage than a basic hole puncher. This punched is heavy duty and exceptionally well made. I consider it an excellent value.

This thing is amazing. Goes through pieces of cardstock like it’s nothing. It is a nice design and well built. Although it take me a minute to figure out where exactly to place the paper to get a perfect placed punch. Overall very satisfying to use

My last pair of hole punchers weren't doing the job. I bought this one because it looked sturdy. It has worked well and doesn't take much effort to punch holes in the fabric or paper I need it to punch. It's a bit hard to see where the hole is going to be. I had to flip it upside down & open the chamber to see the red marks for the holes. The chamber door doesn't let it work well when open. Only a small detractor. I'm just so glad that it's easy to use. It cuts a hole cleanly & quickly. I didn't know it would be so easy. The old school hole punch I've had before was always so hard to use. This one has great leverage.
