I bought a one month Xbox Live digital code for my son like I have done many times in the past. I guess it is now called Game Pass Core since I kept getting diverted to that. I read the description which sounded like it was a new version so I added to cart, checked out and was sent the digital code. The problem is that once the digital code was entered it said “Congratulations! You’re one step closer “ and wanted a card on file for subscription with no other option. It has never done this in the past and we have been buying these for a long time now. The reason we buy the code is because i don’t WANT a subscription!! I tried that route before and was charged for over a year for a service my son was not using with no way to cancel after multiple attempts. So now- paid for the month digital code and am back to square one with no way to cancel the code to get my money back. Extremely frustrated!!

My son finds it quicker ordering it through Amazon.It loads in minutes.

Although you can refund it if you don't use it. its a great product but I would try to go for the ultimate game pass as you get access to a lot more games and deals but if you just looking to get online and don't care to much for the games this is a great deal.
