I'm a big fan of code red. One issue though is that the normal has a lot of sugar so it's not the greatest for me or my teeth. This zero sugar version though is great in that it doesn't have that problem.It's sodastream so pretty standard use: you take your water bottle, carbonate it, measure out the flavoring in its cap, and add that to the bottle. I compared the suggested amount vs two liters and found it's a good value for the money if you don't overflavor. Taste is good for the flavor as well. Would recommend.

Updating my review. Pour very slowly. The newer sodastream bottles have marks on them for where to fill water and how much to fill for the syrup. Just need to pour very carefully; tilting the bottle and pouring the syrup in so it runs down the side into the carbonated water seems to work well. This is definitely the cheapest way to drink mountain dew, and with a 20lb co2 tank you'll save insane amounts of money.If you are careful, this saves insane amounts of money and with a 20lb co2 tank you can make the mountain dew far fresher tasting than any store bought diet mountain dew. The few times I've had to go back to cans of diet mountain dew when out of co2 I have not been happy with them. Being able to carbonate as much as you want and add how much syrup you want easily outclasses store bought diet mountain dew. Make sure to use filtered water, carbonated tap water that isn't filtered has a very tap watery taste even with the mountain dew syrup added.

This sodastream Diet Mountain Dew is always perfect for me, in taste and it is zero sugar in it. This time around the price is worth the money and no bottles leaked. However, the packaging and shipping needs work. The inner box, shipping carton it comes in, the top was perforated again and sealed down with a strip of store-bought shipping tape. It was packed in a larger box with a swath, or a bit of crumpled brown filler paper that didn't provide much protection against the inner carton from sliding around inside. Fortunately, none of the bottles were damaged and they didn't feel like they had been baking in the back seat of a car in 100 degree heat for a day. That last description also refers to a previous case of Sodastream Diet Dr. Pete that came damaged and two bottles leaked and the bottles were very warm. Amazon did refund me for that order. Other than that, the Diet Dew was perfect. No bottles leaked or was over heated. So 1 star off out of five for this order.

Tastes like Mountain Dew! Great value for money. Love that it’s diet. So easy to make my own soda!
