These are everything I look for in a stripper. They replace my lineman’s for most jobs, they have an extra half inch of handle as well when compared to the American version. The added leverage and excellent stripping/shearing quality is just unmatched.

Works perfectly I totally suggest

This tool shows wire size in what I can only assume is millimeters. Insanely good quality very comfortable for stripping all day. You don’t need the US wire sizes anyway if you’re a good electrician the holes are the same as our gauge sizes but just simply labeled as 1.5mm instead of like 12ga or whatever the conversion is. They strip just the same in the US as they do in the EU.

Knipex makes these wire strippers in AWG and metric. I now have both. They're very comparable to each other, the main differences are AWG/metric, the metric set is VDE insulated, and the AWG set has a handle lock. Both strip wires with ease and build quality is excellent as expected. Since I use insulated copper wire in both AWG and metric, having both sets of strippers is a nice convenience, not a necessity. Highly recommended!

The stripper is beautiful. She strips fast and easy. 10/10 would second if you need a stripper.

Love it very much quality tool

Been using these for 2 days and they are already sticking and have a notch in the cutter. I’ve cut nothing but #12 and #10 cu with them and no nothing on my project is hot. Very soft cutting edge, and when it dulls they start to stick making it difficult to open the cutters. Also there is no spring like their other cutters or lock. Not what I was expecting from Knipex.
