Well made. Easily adjustable. Have not played with any snakes to test the viability of their claims, but I am quite certain it is a great upgrade from just pants.

I don't intend to need these daily, so for my uses these are just affordable enough to justify without stepping up to a premium product.The fit is a bit loose unless you tighten the heck out of the straps, but resting on my boots I do feel much safer and can actually focus on my work in the field instead of paranoia about snakebites. I am still alert, but these were really for an accidental stepping on a snake in the desert, since I find myself working in some rural parts both day and night. The protection feels adequate to stop most bites from snakes found in the US who typically will not strike above 2/3rd their body, and we don't have that many long snakes.You could still get tagged above these, or on the hand if you aren't careful, but these are easy to deploy and carry to reduce the odds greatly of a strike when you least expect it. I find them easy to wear hiking or driving from place to place as needed. They do add warmth when its cold and hot when its hot.

These are velvety soft, I think they look nice, and the adjustable fit is very comfortable.I hope I never have to update the review, to tell you how well the protect in case of an actual snake bite!

Good for protection against dog bites.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Cheaper one.

I have not worn these yet, but I have tried them on. Heavy duty, I would trust these from snakes, even large dogs bites.
