A++ for curly hair &/or light compact travel towel
Item was just as described (purchased two of the medium sized blue towels to use for travel/camping/and my Type 3a/3b curls). Didn't think to measure till after I had washed and used it 1x ~ it is actually a teensy bit bigger than what I expected... per my measurements the ones we received are 30 1/2 inches W X 51 1/2 inches L.Unlike some of the negative reviews I did not have any issues with fuzzing, shedding, or discoloration/color bleeding. If you are familiar with this specific type of microfiber material, how it works, and follow the care label instructions regarding how to launder I don't believe you will encounter any unpleasant surprises. For my husband and I, this size is perfect to use as a travel bath towel since it is so lightweight (i.e. not as bulky as a cotton towel) yet capable of absorbing a lot of water and dries quickly. For people with curly hair ~ this size is too large for "plopping" (a curly hair technique *partially folding helped but I prefer a smaller towel for securing wet curls) but perfect size for someone with long hair to use as a towel turban.Recommend measuring one of your own towels at home to get a better idea of which size to order. Ordered a third for our dog as it works much better than our cotton towels.Update Jan 3 2021~ I have since purchased 3 more of these as we love how well they perform and wash, I even keep one in my truck (we live in the PNW so it comes in handy nearly year round). I definitely would recommend these.

Magical microfiber towel!
Okay, maybe I've just gotten unlucky in the past with the towels I've bought, but this Rainleaf microfiber towel is the best towel I've ever used. Seriously. To give you an idea of how good this thing is, my hair is insanely thick. Think like- mammoth fur. I get many compliments on it, but it comes at a price. For example, when I wash my hair, it soaks up an amount of water equivalent to that in Lake Michigan. Normal towels- even thick ones- get fully saturated in seconds at the mere thought of trying to dry my hair. It would still take several hours. Even blow dryers weep at my hair's power, only drying it slightly faster than just using a towel. This towel is the only one I've ever used that can actually dry my hair in a reasonable timeframe. It takes maybe an hour or two at most. I should've tried microfiber years ago. It soaks up SO MUCH and barely gets wet.Anyway, yeah, this towel is awesome. Buy it.

It’s a towel
If you’re looking for a super cozy towel, this isn’t it. If you’re looking for a packable towel that gets you dry, this is it. Excellent to pack because it rolls small into the provided pouch and big enough to wrap around yourself after a shower while traveling. The material isn’t thick, but it’s a perfectly fine towel.

it's microfiber, it's what you'd expect
It's a giant microfiber towel, like the ones you use for your car etc. It has the same texture, and absorbency. It's light weight, and works well for the body and hair. I use it at the gym post shower, and so far it holds up to what you would imagine. I bought the medium size, and it's good for people that have a gut, as it still keeps me modest. Overall, good price, good size, works well. 'nough said

Not just for campers - disabled people will find it useful too
I didn't buy this towel for camping. I bought it because I was having trouble drying myself off after hip replacement surgery. My big bath towel was too short and bulky to reach certain places of my anatomy that I could no long reach because I couldn't bend over - think back and bottom of feet and other hard to reach/narrow spots a bulky towel won't easily go.Here comes this microfiber towel to the rescue. Extra long and thin, you can sling it behind you and under your feet (and other hard to reach spots I will leave to your imagination) and rub-a-dub-dub you have dried yourself off without help from anyone. The forest green color is restful and even goes with my bathroom decor. But best of all, It dries those hard to reach places that your thicker, shorter bath towel can no longer help you with. This microfiber towel is perfect for anyone recovering from surgery or with mobility or movement issues. It increases your independence by allowing you to take care of yourself and make you independent, or at least more independent, in bathing.I suggest that the manufacturers of this towel consider marketing to the senior and disabled communities - they have great product which non=campers would use if they only knew about it!

Best Towel for Glamping!
We recently rented a campground cabin for a week. Not realizing we had to provide our own bedding and towels and such I made a last minute scramble to purchase these. We are a family of five and we were flying!! (I hate to check my luggage!) These came packed in a zipper bag. I washed and dryed them completely prior to folding and stuffing back in the bag. No problem. Just fold them little. I've never used microfiber for a bath towel and was a bit dubious about how well they would work, but hey - we are camping, right? They worked GREAT!! Coming home they were wet from the morning showers, but I folded them and stuck them back in their little zipper pouches. I finally took them out of their pouches 2 days later and the towels were still wet! This is a good thing because it meant that the zipper pouches are water proof!!! None of my other clothes got wet from packing with them.I highly recommend these towels for travel and glamping. :-) My daughter does backwoods bouldering and I bought one for her for Christmas! I love how compact and absorbent they are! I'm sure it will be great for the backpack trips! No more bulky towels, and no more stuffing wet towels with dry stuff.

Nonabsorbent
The towel does not absorb water at all. It is very light and that is the reason I like is someway

Lightweight towel that is great for traveling
We purchased this quick drying towel to take on our European trip. It folded up into a small bag that didn't take up too much space. The towel was absorbent and I even used it on the plane to cover my shoulders with.
