You know how sometimes you've got to click a lighter a few times before it lights? Well this lighter doesn't have this. It lights instantly, the first time I press the button, every single time.The lighter also has some heft to it, which is something I was looking for. I'd say it's a tad heavier than the IM Corona it is replacing. For comparison, the Corona is maybe half the thickness and 7/8th the height. This one is larger and has a different style.The pipe holder could be great for certain situations. Seems like a cool idea but it won't fit all pipes.There are built-in tools like a tamper and a poker. There is also a dial to set the flame height.Overall this lighter is a great value. Much more affordable than the Corona but offering some similar features.

I hate lighters. As an avid smoker of something or other for over 50 years I have purchased several dozen refillables over that time. The fact it works reliably is impressive. It is heavier than I expected, I use it as a desk lighter, but it is pocket size. Very solid, with good features, but again, it's a refillable, soft flame, pipe lighter that actually works. This one has had heavy use for the first 6 weeks. EDIT: 4 months in the striker is failing, which is a shame, the rest of the lighter is exceptional. I probably broke even v/s Bic lighters to date. I'll note when it quits entirely.

The media could not be loaded. ****EDITED by choice****I'm leaving the original review since I typed it already. While the first lighter had issues lighting. The seller reached out QUICKLY and offered a replacement. The replacement arrived very quickly AND worked immediately on the first try. I wish I could 4.5 stars. The ONLY reason it isn't 5 stars is due to the fact you might get a wonky one. BUT when you get one that works, it works.As for it being a pipe rest. It works for a bent pipe and even a McArthur big ole corn cob pipe. So yeah. Overall, a nice little lighter.It's a heavy lighter. The downside is that it takes 3-4 attempts to Light. Even adjusting the "+ -" it still takes several attempts to get a flame. I'm fairly sure that shaking it doesn't actually help, but it makes me feel better to do something in hopes of it lighting. Once lit, it does fine. But if you get frustrated and start clicking away, you'll likely click right past one that actually lights. Perhaps it is a placement of the arc/spark, I'm not sure. To be clear, you can hear the "hiss" of butane each time, and it was just filled before taking the video. It doesn't always light after shaking either.

They look great and have lots of features, but none are really standout. The tamper is too small, the lighter doesn’t hold much fuel, and the pipe holder feels a bit unstable. On the bright side, it’s a solid, well-made lighter with useful tools for your pipe. The balancing feature is a nice touch, even though I don’t use it much, and it feels durable. It’s not flimsy or cheap, and I enjoy playing around with it. It holds a decent amount of fuel and is super easy to use. I was impressed by how sturdy it feels—good quality overall. The soft flame is easy to adjust, and the built-in pipe tools are great for when you’re out and about. I’d definitely recommend this pipe lighter. I’ve only used it with the default flame setting, but the built-in poker tool is really handy. It feels like it’ll last a long time, and its weight is a plus (especially since it doubles as a pipe stand). Filling it up was a breeze—just flip it upside down.

This lighter is cool, but i dont understand why It seems to not work about 80 percent of the time it try and light with it... I went to add butane to see if it was fine... added some, it worked fine for like 20. 10 mins then it just stopped again, I added some more butane, and it doesn't work very sad about this purchase.

So, a funny thing happened. The Amazon driver left this in front of my garage door. Yup, I opened it in the morning and drove over the package. They do this often. The box was crushed, but I hate taking stuff back or shipping back. Filled it with fluid and it worked great. I mean I drove over this with an Infiniti QX80. Conclusion, they are well made. Enjoy.

Profoundly underwhelming performance. The initial unit I received exhibited significant functional deficiencies, characterized by erratic ignition and excessive butane leakage. Upon reporting these issues, I was promptly issued a replacement. While the second unit demonstrated a marginal improvement—namely, a temporary cessation of leakage and a slightly more consistent ignition—the flame output remained highly unstable and poorly regulated.Notably, optimal performance was confined to approximately the first ten ignitions following each refueling. Thereafter, despite rigorous maintenance procedures, including proper bleeding of residual air and gas, the flame dwindled to an almost imperceptible flicker or failed to appear entirely until the next refill. After six months of periodic use and careful upkeep, the lighter has ceased to ignite altogether. Though a visible spark remains present, it fails to initiate combustion—rendering the device entirely inoperative.In sum, both the initial and replacement units proved unreliable, failing to meet even the most basic functional expectations over time.

This is a great lighter. It feels great in your hand and is easy to use. It functions exactly as advertised. I really like being able to set my pipe up on the lighter. That is a really cool function. Filling it is pretty easy too. All in all I definitely would recommend. 5/5
