Best Car Seat
This car seat is perfect. Works great with our stroller, heavy but other that works great.

We love it but a few flaws!
At 2 months old, we love this car seat but it took me a bit!At first, the infant insert was great. It is hard to get it super tight as the strap is not long at all to pull. Luckily my pinky fit at the end of the strap to pull. As our baby grew, he wasn’t quite big enough to remove the insert but he started going chin to chest. We ended up making the call and removing it and now at 2 months, he is comfy and safe! Tip: recline base all the way back to avoid chin to chest in this car seat.

Weird fit for newborns
We decided to go with the UPPAbaby stroller because of the double stroller option. The car seat with newborn insert is weird, first the straps seems very difficult to pull tight and the baby looks super uncomfortable in the car seat. We took it out after a few uses because he just looked very awkward. Otherwise we have enjoyed the car seat.

Practical Car Seat
I bought an Uppa Baby stroller and car seat with my daughter in 2013 and the quality and practicality was on point so this time around for my 3rd baby I decided to go with the same brand. Except the car seat I originally owned back then was in an orange and the canopy was made of a nice thick stretchy material like that of a rash guard bathing suit, but the canopy on this new V2 version in black seems cheap and it’s kind of see through. It definitely doesn’t seem to have Lycra material to make it thick and stretchy. It’s a bummer since the canopy for this version provides more coverage pulled all the way forward than my older car seat. I’ll still keep it for the safety features and because I already have the stroller frames this will fit onto.
