Great shoe! **Update**
My fourth pair of Cole Haans. Had never tried these. Just got them today. They are one of the most comfortable oxfords Ive ever worn. They are also stunningly gorgeous with a slightly smokey darker tip. I bought them because I saw my size was discounted to about $45 bucks, but would've gladly paid a lot more.I can't speak to how they hold up long term, but if they are at all like the other Cole Haans they should be fine.**Update**6 months in and by far my favorite business casual shoe I've ever owned. They are super comfortable, and show very little wear after wearing 8+ hrs multiple times per week. I'm looking at the black ones now. Can't believe I bought these when they were $45 bucks. Wish I'd have bought multiple pairs.Even at $150 these are a great buy.

Love these shoes!
I can honestly say that I'm blown away by how comfortable these shoes are. The British Tan color is "on point" and very professional looking. Others stated some break in time was needed; however, I did not experience that. These shoes were comfortable right out of the box! I mean very comfortable, as in better than any other dress shoe I currently own (Johnson &Murphy, Florsheim, ECCO, and Allen Edmonds. Even more surprising is the fact that the comfort lasted all day (8+ hrs) on my feet. As for sizing, I wear an 11D in Nike, New Balance, Merrill's, and Clarks. I ordered an 11D and the fit is perfecto! If your in the market for a pair of quality dress shoes - save the search and buy these. You won't regret it.

Potentially great deal depending on retailer/sale
I purchased the tan pair for myself through another site probably three years ago. Cole Haan is catching some flack about the quality of their leather, but these are legit. They hold up well, especially if you put a little effort into taking care of them.Right now they're "retailing" for $180. Probably $200-250 when they were the new style.I bought a size 10M and 11M in black for younger friends as gifts. If you can find them for under $90 I'd say they're a steal. In both cases, they were well below that price point. My friend who's had the size 11 pair for a year said they were holding up well (especially with basic care such as shoe trees, an occasional shine, and leather lotion to protect against the elements).Only 4 stars because I wouldn't consider buying them if over $100, you can do better.

A shoe for all seasons
Beautiful shoe, but the star of the shoe is the insole. I have never felt as comfortable commuting in oxfords as I have these last few days. Brilliant comfort. The shoe also bears a slightly modernized broguing, not the most distinctive or refined pattern, but it is understated and blends well with both formal and semi-formal occasions. I would characterize it as a quarter brogue, which means that the toe end is not brogued, only the edges, making it slightly more more formal than full brogues, which means it can go very well with business attire.

Great fit and comfort
Very nice shoes, esp. the heel cup shape and friction designed to reduce slippage. No blisters whatsoever on my bony feet the first day out of the box -- which is highly unusual for me. Overall, they are quite comfortable for dress shoes and look better than the $100 price tag would suggest. They fit normal for dress shoes, which is to say about a half-size smaller than sneakers. In terms of width, I found D to be perfect, which suggests they run a bit narrow.

Terrible quality
I have worn Cole haans for a long time and I was surprised to see the quality. Which also makes me wonder if this is a true Cole haan shoe

I am surprised and somewhat disappointed. The same shoe in Tan color fits and feels great. But this shoe of the same size 8M, is tight and leads to feet ache by the afternoon. I was hoping that after 3-4 days of use, it may loosen up. Not to be, so far

The quality of this shoe depends on the country of manufacture
This specific shoe, which I returned, was manufactured in Vietnam. In my opinion the Cole Haan shoes which cost $200 at retail stores and are made in India are more comfortable, better looking, and will be better lasting than these $100 versions. If you need a shoe for occasional use this one may be great for you but for daily wear, I highly suggest spending the extra and getting a higher quality product from a retail store. Differences I noted were quality of leather and the stitches per inch on both the upper of the shoe as well as on the sole.
