The Lord of the Rings Collector’s Edition Box Set: Includes The Fellowship of the Ring, The Two Towers, and The Return of the King Hardcover – November 5, 2024

There are a number of editions of this book available and I am not reviewing the story itself which is a classic of literature. My review is of the physical book edition itself. I love a well bound, clearly printed book. Such a book is easy to hold in one's hands and to read. This is such a book. It is a physical pleasure to hold and to read. I call it a book, it is of course 3 volumns. If one wishes to read this story, then this is the edition I recommend.

Great story and writing

I read the series, watched the movies, and the new show. This was absolutely great to buy for my son who is starting to get into the lore.

This series is one of the best ever written, in my opinion. I've read these from cover to cover many times. I'm giving the set as a gift. I'm sure it will be well received. The books are without a doubt a very difficult read. The style is such that you have to pay close attention to what is written or you will be lost. Tolkien was a master at creating pictures with words. Detailed enough for the reader to picture but not so much detail that one forgets the story. Hope you will enjoy reading this as much as I have. Just remember this story was written in the early nineteen teens and the 1920's.

Came in perfect condition, I did check to make sure that there was not a printing error that others had happen. The design is simple and clean which is nice. I love the map that came with the books too.

The Lord of the rings series is a must have in some format. The design of the books are hard cover with eye catching colored end pages and a nice ribbon page marker. The pages seem to be high quality. The books are exactly what I was looking for to put on my book shelf and catch the eye of our recent visitors.
