Worth the money....IF
I really love this pen. I only use it for taking notes, but it is so responsive, has great battery life and is cheap. I didn't want to spend +$120 for an apple pencil just to take notes so this was a good compromise for me. It feels good holding it. It's light weight ans seems durable and not cheap.or flimsy. Functional and accurate. I think it's worth it ans then some for the value. 🤍🤍

Great customer service and a good product too!
The first one I ordered had connection issues, it would disconnect after 1 second of use or not connect at all. I looked at the reviews and saw some people talking about inability to get a replacement if there were issues with the pen which made me nervous, but after trying to troubleshoot myself I ended up contacting customer service (via their website, not Amazon). Help was really quick, I assume they are in a different time zone so I would email in the evening and usually wake up to a response. After just a couple emails they decided to just send me a replacement, which was great! I didn’t have to fill anything out, send the original pen back, or go through any annoying process, they just sent a new pen to me free of charge through Amazon! It even came a couple days early! I just got it and so far it’s working PERFECTLY! I’ve never used an Apple Pencil, so I can’t really compare the two, but the pen has a nice weight to it and the connection to the ipad is fast and easy. Highly recommend to anyone wanting an apple pencil on a budget, this will be great for taking notes for college!

Good dupe for Apple Pencil
I recently got an iPad mini 6. I was originally going to purchase the Apple Pencil but decided against it when I realized it would drain the iPad battery more quickly when connected. I appreciate that the ESR pencil can still be connected magnetically. While it does have a separate charging method, I don’t mind. So far, it seems to be working great. You don't have to connect it to Bluetooth, you tap the top of it and can get right to work. All the Scribble features work well so far. It works well with a matte screen protector on top of my tempered glass protector too. My only gripe so far is that it turns off after some inactivity. This pencil works for me as someone who wants to annotate and write on my screen. I'm not an illustrator so I'm not sure how it would perform for those purposes.

Good bang for the buck
Unless you’re an artist or graphic designer buy this instead of the Apple Pencil, works great for basic drawings or doing notes. Good bang for the buck

Good pencil for the money but a bit glitchy. Warranty is good.
Update: There were issues with the original pencil so I reached out to see if it was still under warranty and it was so they sent me a replacement pencil. The replacement pencil is better and can wirelessly charge or charge with a USB C cable. In the meantime I had gotten the real fruit pencil 2, and was using that with my ipad mini. But in our household we have various versions of the ipads, including Ipad 10th gen, which doesn't write with the fruit pencil 2, but this pencil writes on it no problem. I was quite frustrated at first knowing that my fruit pencil 2 wasn't compatible with all the ipad versions we had in our household but this one kind of solved the issues. I also like that I don't have to connect it via bluetooth to the device to use it. I think that is the biggest selling point. The tilt sensitivity seems to work better and works well with the note app on the ipad. I can't say I've noticed anything regarding the palm rejection on this replacement.Original: I purchased this pencil because I didn’t want to spend 5x more to purchase the Apple Pencil. This is a great alternative for the value of 1/5 the Apple Pencil costs. However there are small differences. I will not elaborate on charging and pressure sensitivity and other features that this pencil doesn’t claim to have.I used the notes app to test the pencil. This pencil is advertised with tilt sensitivity and palm rejection but after numerous hours using this product those two features are glitchy. This is the reason for the amount of stars given.Palm rejection works maybe 90% of the time. There are those moments when my hand is resting on the screen while I write with the pencil that it marks where my hand is resting too. I did have the “only draw with Apple Pencil” option turned on on my iPad. It didn’t happen often so I contacted customer service to ask if I was doing something wrong, they told me to change the nib, remove screen protector, and check issues with the iPad. Did all those things but issue still persisted. The second feature is the tilt sensitivity. I tilt the pencil like in the advertising photos but the tilt sensitivity has only worked with some pen settings I attempted. In the Notes app with the main pen setting (the one to the left of the highlighter) the line gets thicker and thinner with movement, not tilt. When I move the pencil nib across the screen really quickly, the line it leaves behind is thick. When I move slowly or at normal speed the line is thin. With the crayon setting (right of the highlighter), the tilt works. At this point, I'm not sure if it's the pencil or the pen setting.Other than these two features being an issue the battery life is great, the pencil feels good in the hands, you get an extra nib (but I don’t think ESR sells extra nibs at the time of this review), the magnets to attach it to the iPad’s side is strong, the double tap activation on top of the pencil is really responsive to turn it on and off, the lights on the side are useful to tell how much power is left because you can’t check via iPad how much power is left, and charging is not an issue with the cable but I am afraid of losing the little plastic dust protector for the charging port.
