I replaced 20 watt halogen bulbs with these, almost as bright but a lot cooler.

Work as designed in a fountain.

Second update. One by one the bulbs continue to burn out. Some lasting longer than others and two more go up in smoke. All I get from the vendor are questions concerning my installations. I have been servicing RVs for more than 50 years and know the differeance between AC and DC. Do yourself a favor and find another vendor and bulb.Update. Order 10 rather than go through the return hassle and have used most of them to replace bulbs as they go put. Further 3 have actually smoked when they went out with a very foul odor. Please don't waster your money. These thing are total junk and possibly dangerous.4 out of the ten bulbs proved defective. To get a refund they wanted me to return all 10. They are already installed and difficult to change. No way to get just the defective bulbs replaced. Waste of time and money. Don't buy.

THE BULBS DID GOOD FOR A FEW HOURS THEN SOME OF THEM STARTED SMOKING AND HAVE BUBLES IN THEM.
