Sailor Fountain Pen Converter, Black

Sailor is not a popular pen brand and even pen stores in the city did not have them in stock; the converters or cartridges... but Amazon brought them to my door. It works well. It is a replacement for one that lasted for years.5 stars for the convenience. Thanks

Sailor has a proprietary cartridge, so this converter is needed to fill my Yamadori in it - or really any other ink that does not come in a cartridge.

I’m very happy with this ink converter. My Sailor works great with cartridges when I travel and then when I’m back at my desk, I can pull the cartridges out, put in the converter, and use whicheverbottled ink I like.What a great convenience and makes my pen so much more flexible and functional.

Thus works great for using my own ink & colors for my new Sailor fountain pen.

I have three Sailor pens and have bought a Sailor converter for each--they are flawless and I've been pleased. Then, I bought a little (low-end) Sailor HighAce Neo planing to use one of the converters I had already purchased only to find that of the three, only one would fit the Neo! The other two would not slide onto the feed even when I really, really pressed to get them into place. Cartridges fit just fine on all, including the Neo. Nonetheless, it seemed strange that two of my three useful and dependable Sailor converters didn't fit! Oh well, they do fit nicely into my higher-end Sailor pens. Still, it seemed strange and I thought the difficulty with the converter and the Neo was worth mentioning.

I really like using my own ink choices for my different fude pens. The sailor fudes don't come with the converter, so this is a must-have for me. They seem to hold a nice amount of ink, and they're easy to use. Very happy.
