Creepy, Clever, and Surprisingly Competitive â Jump Scare is a Horror Fanâs Dream
As someone who loves both horror and Magic: The Gathering, Jump Scare immediately caught my eye when it was revealed as part of the Duskmourn: House of Horror Commander precons. After a few games, I can confidently say: this deck delivers.đ» Theme and Flavor: 10/10This deck oozes (sometimes literally) creepy vibes. The artwork, card names, and mechanics are dripping with haunted house horror movie energy. Every card feels like it belongs in a twisted nightmare. If you're into horror tropes and creepy aesthetics, this is one of the most flavorful precons Wizards has ever made.đ§ Gameplay and Strategy:"Jump Scare" focuses on flashback, madness, graveyard recursion, and sacrifice synergy. It wants your cards in the graveyardâand it rewards you for it. Expect to:Cast spells twice with flashbackDiscard cards for value using madnessBring creatures back from the grave again and againThe deck plays like a horror movieâslowly building tension, then unleashing chaos in the late game.đȘŠ Commander:Narci, Fable Singer is a strong and unique commander who rewards you for using flashback and madness. She's the perfect centerpieceâgrindy, recursive, and a genuine card advantage engine. Sheâs also a great jumping-off point for future upgrades.đĄ Pros:Very synergistic out of the boxCool mechanics that arenât often featured in preconsFlexible gameplay â toolbox styleGreat upgrade path (add better discard outlets, cards like Archfiend of Ifnir, Faithless Looting, etc.)â ïž Cons:A bit slower in faster metasSome of the included cards are underpowered (typical precon filler)Madness/flashback interactions can be tricky for newer playersđ ïž Upgrade Potential:High. Add some better mana rocks, a few tutors, and more premium discard/graveyard payoffs, and Narci becomes a force. You could also easily pivot into a Mardu Reanimator shell or Horror tribal.â Final Verdict:Jump Scare is a spooky, synergistic, and satisfying precon thatâs perfect for fans of horror and graveyard strategies. Itâs flavorful, fun to pilot, and offers great value whether youâre playing it out of the box or tuning it up. One of the best thematic Commander products in recent years.Buy it before it vanishes like a ghost in the night đ»

Great set sent me the correct package
Good set, I bought it to see if they would send me the other one by accident they didn't. But still worth buying.

Jump scare!
Awesome precon right out the box. Itâs fun to run but thereâs a decent learning curve. Once you get it down, youâll be manifesting dread and slamming some heavy hitting cards out to overwhelm your opponents and be the last one standing.

great
I had to buy it again for my kid, because the first time I ordered it from the seller, I had received the incorrect product (Endless Punishment Commander). Thankfully, the second time, the product arrived on time and with every part.
