Only started a week ago, have used other products by this company -Not happy with results so far.

This is a little more expensive than the original VSL product, but is discounted if you subscribe to auto delivery.I truly like the concept of this.1) It doesn't need to be refrigerated2) most probiotics lose much of the bacteria as it works its way to the gut trying to get past the stomach acids. This has a time release that doesn't release the product until it is deeper in the gut where it is needed It therefore doesn't need as much of the bacteria to survive its course through the stomach acids to the gut.So far it seems to be working well. If I don't use a probiotic daily, my system goes all to hell. So I can tell right away if it works or not. It is working very well.

I was hopeful to try this new product because VSL3 in the packets has been so helpful in the past for me and this new product is much more affordable. I suffer from chronic IBS-M (mixed D & C). At first I thought this may have assisted in daily discomfort (daily bloating, distended stomach, gas, cramps, tension in stomach, diarrhea/constipation) but after continuing use found no relief in symptoms. Without too many details changed my bowel movements but not in a good way (went less often) They are small, easy to use daily (says not to take with hot liquids) but effectiveness was not there for me. The price point is much better then VSL3 or subsidiary of VSL3 so if you take a risk and try this product could be effective for you and save you $ monthly but for me not strong enough to help.
