Charging wire has poor or next to no retention. Have to lay unit on side so charging wire will not fall out. Unit will charge however I am using another charging wire/cable. Ordered and shipped to Canada so a hassle to return but wanted to post this feedback Unit is 200+ but is I consider high quality. Little things like this can sour the whole experience.UPDATEThe vendor rep jumped all over this problem and acknowledged the engineering issue with the poor retention of the charging cable. Many solutions were suggested but the one that worked was a full refund. I am adjusting my rating to a 5 only because of the prompt and professional response to my concern. The root issue remains and the vendor is putting action items in play to fix it.

Similar to the one at my chiropractors office one design and use except not as powerful but definitely packs a punch and will have you squirming lol. The one my chiro uses is $1500 so for this one to still ease my muscle tension and knots at a fraction of the price is amazing. Not to mention that I OWN IT and don’t have to set appointments just to get some relief. It could be 3am or 3pm, either way I’m getting some great, long lasting, deep tissue relief

So what's so interesting about a massager? Well, let me tell you that this is the home version of the chiropractic $1400 unit. The difference? cost and a bit of size. The 1st one I bought died within 1 hour of total use. It started making loud noises from the head bearings and so I returned it and got another one immediately. #2 was much better and I have been using it for months now around 3 -4 times/week. I use it on my arthritic right shoulder and surprisingly, the action is such that it "hurts so good:. What I mean is that you can travel all over your body (watch out for just skin over bone areas..ouch!) and it will tell you what areas it will benefit you by just using it all over your body . If it hurts a bit, you know you have inflammation and you need to use this on it to get that painful inflammation to go away. I let my G.F. use it and she kept it so I had to buy myself another one. I don't think It's a "couple's toy" but a health benefit device.

30 years in the pain management end of massage therapy with multiple national board certifications post licensure in corrective neuromuscular massage. This has become invaluable in my practice. I own a Theragun Pro, and several other percussion and vibrational tools, cupping sets, magnetic applicators, frequency forks, FIR infrared pads, hand tools, etc... and the addition of this to the mix has cut my triggerpoint/muscle release time by half. Used with advanced bodywork skills and disgression on placement, it creates a lot of heat faster than anything Ive ever used in my 30 years. Why heat? Frees the fascia, reduces the time spent on holding trigger points, increases the local circulation tremendously. It is small enough not to be taxing on holding it because the weight is easier than my percussors. So far for 4 weeks of constant use and making sure not to press hard enough so the red light goes on, it is a trooper. You do not need to press with this machine .

Well made massage tool. Powerful and easy to use. I’m a massage therapist and use it on my clients often. It provides a good and fast release while being well tolerated by most people. I like the different heads and the fact that I don’t need to stop to change anything. It can be used with oil or over clothes. I find it easy to use on myself too. It holds charge for a long time. (I have only been using it for couple of months so far.) It’s well weighted, not too heavy - not too light) and thought it’s little noisy my clients don’t seem to mind. The sensation of the vibration feels relaxing and deep. The tool is well priced also. I would be happy to recommend this tool to professional body workers as well as for personal use.

I have issues with my neck and migraines. My chiropractor recommended a rapid release tool and after searching Amazon, the Hyako Pro seemed like a great product and well priced. I bought one and I absolutely love it. I use it every day wherever I am hurting and it really helps. The small metal tip is perfect for the area where the base of the skull meets the neck to work out knots and relieve tension. It is particularly convenient that you just need to turn the massager to the tip that you want to use. No searching for and switching attachments like those massage guns. It is also powerful and the charge lasts a very long time. A few weeks after I got mine, I sent one to my son as a gift to help with his sore muscles and tight calves. He loves it too. After several months of use, mine is working perfectly but his stopped working properly. I contacted customer service and Hyako responded within minutes and told me they would send him a free replacement. He received it a few days later and he is thrilled to have his favorite massager again and just in time to take with him on vacation. We both highly recommend this product and are very happy with how the company stands behind their product and their warranty.

This is a fantastic vibration massage unit. I have been using percussion massagers for many years now but they were very uncomfortable and useless with more sensitive areas like my neck or knees. This HYAKO R1 Pro vibration massager solves those issues and works amazingly well to subdue aches and pains on any body area. It feels like it scrapes out the area much like my body scrapers, but just better. I love the variety of heads that can be easily used and it comes with a very handy storage case. My only gripe is that it’s quite heavy, but it’s still manageable (why I gave only 4 stars). I think I’ll be now using this HYAKO unit full time now and pack away the more expensive percussion guns. I got it on sale and it is worth every penny. Highly recommended.
