I'm a long-time customer of Sametop for a range of GoPro and other camera accessories, including an earlier version of this chest mount ("chesty") strap for GoPro. This version is another consistently high quality product from Sametop.First, it features a convenient clip approach to wear or remove the mount. You can adjust the straps, then remove the center clip and remove the mount like a jacket. Very convenient. Built into this chest mount is a GoPro style mount clip, and to that you can attach any GoPro with the traditional thumbscrew.This upgraded model also features a new upgrade that lets you mount a cell phone if you don't have a GoPro. The cell phone mount is clever, allowing you to tilt it down to see the screen and then tilt up to film. I also note this could be a great way to hold your phone hands free, such as a sporting event, where maybe you want to watch the video by looking down. The screw lock to hold in your phone is secure and padded with rubber feet. My iPhone 14Pro Max, the largest of that generation, was held in securely. Then you can flip the camera up and press record and walk hands-free.This new approach is great, and I fully expect to use this mount for a number of uses. One small downside is if you have a very large phone, then there can be a small amount of wobble as. you walk around, but less with a GoPro because it's more centrally located. However modern phones incorporate stabilization and the result in the video is still very smooth.

Works well for filming training videos. We aren’t moving around a lot but is comfortable to wear. Hold our iPhone securely and stays in position. Good quality and a great price point.

I’ve been using it with my iPhone, GoPro 4 and 6, and DJI Pocket 3.Like the previous Sametop harness (version 2) for action cameras, this chest mount is easy to put on and offers great comfort, thanks to its breathable padding. Removing it is quick and simple, thanks to the quick-release buckle.Similar to the action camera version, the J mount includes a non-slip rubber pad that keeps your phone securely in place, preventing accidental slips.Switching from landscape to portrait orientation is straightforward. While it takes a little longer because you have to adjust and tighten the knobs to secure the phone before rotating, I appreciate the added security this provides. Although it's slightly slower, I feel much safer with this setup.The strap itself is well-constructed and fully adjustable to fit all body types. It's easy to adjust, which is crucial for keeping your phone from flapping against your body. This might not be as much of an issue with action cameras, but phones are longer, and larger phones can move around more when you're walking.Overall, this chest mount is well-built, comfortable, and significantly more affordable than other brands. I highly recommend it if you need to capture POV or first-person view videos, or if you need to keep your hands free while filming.

I purchased this for my son because he wanted to have his camera on his chest for a POV as he did things for videos. This POV camera holder is very stable, easy to use straight out of the package, fits his phone perfectly and holds it well and secure. Excellent functionality for a great price.
