They're built to last
Amazing tone, lasted a year and half but then again it varies from person to person. Great strings by Elixir. Cheers!

Awesome product
Its been Four months since i stringed them on my ibanez rg guitar and its still good as new one in terms of sound and quality.the sound is bright and gives good sustain.not a single rust so far.the strings are very stable with the floyed rose bridge and holds tune very well.its worth the price.i had used dadderio strings in the past which is a good product but starts to get rust after two weeks of use.this one is a monster.dont care about the price but will always use elixir strings in the comming years.just beware of the fake ones which are chinese made.always buy from authentic seller.

The best for the money
Miles ahead of competitor brands in terms of product quality. Long lasting, smooth to play and handles high e string bends pretty well.

Great sound, worth the money
This is my first Elixir strings and they did meet my expectations. Sounds great on my Fender Classic Vibe 70’s stratocaster.Buy strings from Chennai Musicals they are legit.Appario retailer on other hand is selling counterfeit strings, had worst experience with them more than twice.

Hard to play! Require a lot of pressure to get a clean note!
Coming from D'addario, used coated strings for the first time.I could not tell at all that the strings are coated!Good tone, nothing very differentBut:Beware of the negatives:The strings are very tight, stiff, and hard to play! With the same gauge, they feel like I bumped up the gauge by 2! Suddenly my guitar feels like it has a really bad setup! I need to put a lot more pressure than before to get a clean note without any buzz!I would have never thought just changing the strings will cause such a big difference!I guess I'll drop to lower tunings and try djendy stuff.

Great product.
This works great if you don't want your strings to rust and sound dull in a week, and it works as advertised.Update: it has now lasted for more than 6 months for me. There's a little rust here and there, the tone is a little dull but still very playable and could easily last for a couple more months.

My favourite string brand!
I've been an Elixir fan for ages. As a touring musician who plays his guitar day in and day out, nothing beats the feel and reliability of Elixirs. These are the only strings that can survive the rigours of touring and the change in humidity, sweat from constant playing, etc. My last pair literally lasted over a year without a single string breaking! These cost a little more than other conventional string brands but they prove to much more value for money in the long run. Highly recommended!

Elixir strings any day.
Great tone and playability. Longer lasting than regular strings. Check for optimal pricing. It shouldn’t cost over 1k-1.1k per set. Else, it’s a rip off
