Green stain on sand freaks me out. What is it?

I have no idea what the green stain is? The sand is brown like regular sand. 100% normal sand

Is this product non toxic?

When I looked up the sand it comes with, it said so, but also not 100%sure. I don’t let my little guy play with it without being watched

So much fun for hours, in fact days

My 2 year old grandson absolutely loves this, it is quite small but has great sand and diggers an excavators, sand castle making and working men. When it’s a horrible day he can even play indoors with it. One of the best toys at granny’s house
