A Herb I Will Never be Without.
Winter Savoury is a new herb in my cupboard, and one I will never be without again. Thank you to everybody who gave me advice about it.I have used it in Lamb and Pork stews and casseroles. It has a wonderful flavour and aroma that evokes country kitchens and old fashioned cooking; something your mother might have made.I am generous when I use herbs. I have large, wide-mouthed jars that I can put my hand in and grab a handful of herb that I then stir into whatever I am cooking; but I am usually cooking six portions at a time.As a guide I put two tablespoons full in a Lamb stew for six servings. That's about one of those stupid little jars you buy in the supermarket.I hope you like Winter Savoury Herb as much as I do.

Cannot put this herb in my stews
The herb Savory was tasteless, reminded me of sawdust and no aroma whatsoever. It's a strong herb.
