This has been a very good product for me. I have allergies with Gluten and Dairy. Taking one capsule before, during or after a meal helps does help with digestion when I am not sure if the food contains these ingredients. I haven’t had any problems after consuming Gluten or Dairy.

I take these before I eat a big meal or a meal I'm not sure what all is in it that might irritate my IBS and it works wonderful. I've tried cheaper brands and they don't cut it . 100% worth the price.

As I have gotten older, I have gotten worse and worse about being able to digest red meat. And I love a good burger or steak. Before trying this, if I ate a burger, it would sit on my stomach nearly 24 hours. I would belch it up all day and just feel pretty bad overall. Last night I tried again but took two capsules of this. Today I woke up and had zero feeling of anything being on my stomach. There was no belching, and from everything I can tell it was digested just fine... like it used to. Highly recommended if you find yourself in a similar situation. I guess the next test will be a steak.

Works good, this is used by my son that has stomach issues that they can't seem to diagnose. It seems to run in the family. The severe stomach issues skipped me and my brother, but was passed down to our kids. My son's stomach would swell after eating anything. It would swell to the size of a woman that's 9 months pregnant and stay like that just getting bigger and bigger. He also suffered from severe constipation due to all the internal swelling. The only thing they could offer for relief is for him to take a prescription laxative twice a day for life. It also took awhile to find one his stomach could tolerate. He's lactose intolerant and can't tolerate certain foods, meats, snacks, vegetables, vitamin supplements, fruits, drinks or certain ingredients. He's very limited to what he can eat, but still way better off then his cousin who's allergic to just about everything. My son does also seem to have a very slow moving digestive system and his stomach acids seem weak. He's able to tolerate this Digest Gold Supplement out of the many other brands he tried and it does help.

UPDATE June 2025: The company was kind enough to offer me a full refund. I am using the supply from the last auto shipment I’d received, with good effect and no issues (slight odor if I put my nose to them, but not wafting noxious by any means.) I think there may have a been a glitchy batch? (My friend also had a bottle that was unpalatable for her around the same time. But this batch is fine, and I think whatever it was has been remedied.)---I have used these faithfully for years, and used to keep them on auto-ship because they were so effective. Something changed several months back. Not sure if it’s the formula or just the thickness of the capsule that changed, but the capsules smell aweful, which they never did before. I’ve also had to throw away a bunch of pills that started to show little dark/brown flecks or specks inside.. That flecks showed up both in 1 new bottle and 2 of the bottles I still had on hand (and wasn’t using as much of b/c of the smell.) I kept forgetting to cancel my autoship, but finally did so I only have a little back-stock now b/c these didn’t qualify for return or refund. (Not sure why.) I have not used the supply with flecks in it, but have continued to use the others despite the odor b/c I think what I’m smelling is just the enzyme odor coming through a thinner capsule. The scent of any good enzymes is pretty awful, so I hope I’m right about this. They seem to still be working ok for me, with no side effects.

This enzyme is a life saver for my daughter. She has a malabsorption condition and this enzyme allows her to eat carbs and improve her energy levels! Easy to use on the go as well. Definitely grateful for this product!!

First off let me just say that I bought this product expecting it to be a flop like other products I’ve tried. The only reason I bought it was because I saw that there were a lot of great claims on this product so I thought I’d give it a try. I’m so glad I did, because it is effective in what it claims to do. The bottle size is very standard which makes it reasonable for the price point. I’ll pop 2 of these bad boys during my meal and within 2 hours of eating I’m already feeling my bowel movements. Such a nice feeling (if you retain lots of gas, or don’t have regular bowel movements you know what I’m talking about). I can rely on this product now to get me back into my regular groove especially with heavier foods. As with many supplements you want to stay hydrated. As for the taste you cannot taste or smell any pungent weirdness or aftertaste which I love! If you’re hesitating, I’d definitely recommend giving it a try!

Ive had horrible symtoms of Histamine Intolerence over a year ago. It lasted for about 8 months. I had breathing issues and constant acid reflux. Worse 8 months of my life. I bought these enzymes in addition to histaminx probiotics before my meals.. and its made a HUGE difference. Acid reflux is gone! Breathing issues (air hunger) gone! I still get heartburn every so often. But it will last a day or 2.. and not months on end! I mainly only take this now before dinner which is my biggest meal! Highly recommend!
